Saw these guys open for Elton John a couple years ago. Good stuff.

Saw him once with Billy Joel (fantastic) and once by himself (also fantastic). At one of the shows, he came right out and opened with Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding - UNREAL.

Also, Elton is a good example of how big of a dickhead Steve Perry is. Elton's voice isn't quite what it once was. It's so much more jarring when you compare a live performance to a copy of the old studio recording. The range is probably cut in half (tonally, however, he still sounds good). Anyway, it just goes to show that the fans will appreciate it and eat it up, but Perry's too fragile of a personality to go out there and give his fans what they've been clamoring for.
