They both kick ass in my opinion. Cant pick between them.

Wardy - cannot believe your comment "best song since F.U.C.K.". What happened to Balance man ? What a record! Opener Seventh Seal is one of my favourite VH tracks, Can't Stop Loving you - f*****g classic, Not Enough - THE ONLY BALLAD VH HAVE - Feelings ... this list goes on and on ...

I'll go with "Humans Being"!

If Van Halen could have kept Sammy and made music like this for Van Halen III then I think VH would have had a monster of an album.Humans being was a progression in the right direction for VH.
Me wise Magic is classic VH and a good song in its own right but I still lean towards Humans being.

Cheers

Even though Humans Being & Me Wise Magic are equally great rock songs in their own right showcasing VH at their finest during their later years. I think Me Wise Magic is a helluva great VH/DLR reunion track proving Eddie & Dave still had it after all these years!!!

Wow vanhielan, it's well over a year since you replied to this post and somehow I must have missed your comments!? So after all this time, ir you're still about, here's my answer...

Don't get me wrong, I love Balance. When I first heard the album I was extremelly excited. But I found after the opening three tracks the album seemed to go a little flat (not bad, just not as good as those first three tracks!). Yes 'Feelings' was cool, but again, 'Seventh Seal', 'Can't stop loving you', and classic 'Don't tell me' were better IMO.

So when 'Humans Being' arrived I was totally blown away. I have spoken to Andrew and he agrees, however he also got the feeling from the song that not all was well within the band. So now that we know he was right, and as of writting we have the news of Sammy's return to the band, I do hope indeed that they continue on where they left off and keep the intesity of 'Humans Being', and on a grander scale return to being the worlds greatest hard-rock band! Love em!

Me Wise Magic is a much better song! I don't like Humans Being. Sammy talks the lyrics instead of sings them. It sounds like rap/rock.

I'm sorry but Humans Being is better than MWM. Dave's voice sounds strained and weak. The riff in MWM was killer, but it showed why Dave is not an option in VH anymore, he has lost his classic voice.

In response to WardyS3's question, Hagar reworked Between Us Two into Returning of the Wish on Red Voodoo.
