Any word on an opening act yet?

It definitely won't be Tesla unfortunately. I think very highly of them and was hoping they'd open. They had been the most highly rumored band out there to open, however, I checked their site and they've added shows all throughout June and none of them conincide with anything VH is doing. I trust VH's judgement on an opening act. If the opening act sux, so be it. Hopefully though it will be someone that's decent. Everything involving this tour is very secretive which is actually pretty cool. We're close to a month away from the first show so we should be knowing soon...

yeah i cant wait....i did hear rumors that vh would play two sets. that would be fine by me.

ted, if your out there....it's only a short drive up to hershey for ya....
call up eddie and ask to open for em.... i'd love to see Danger Danger as the opening act.

I'm going to the Herhsey show as well. I have the 5 star package. I live in Indy, but couldn't wait until July so I decided to take a road trip. Danger Danger would be cool to have open, however, I just don't see VH having what is considered an "80's" band opening up for them. I suspect they'll do what Kiss did in the mid to late 90's and bring a band out with them that's new to get them some exposure. They did have Vince Neil open for them when I saw them on tour in the mid 90's and Vince was great. Who knows, with VH and the quietness that surrounds the band, we may not know who the opening act is until the "nameless band" takes the stage the opening night of the tour.
