The Fifth Annual CrueFest Hollywood
July 30th, 2005
Whisky a Go-Go
Hollywood, CA

Music fans organized CrueFest - a music event to benefit charity. An event inspired by good-will and the uncensored energy that Motley Crue's music embodies. Since its inception in 2001, CrueFest has grown in audience attendance, musician participation, and dollars raised to benefit cancer research. CrueFest grows every year because of the dedication of organizers, sponsors, artists, and fans who plan, donate, and travel to make it happen.

Proceeds from this fifth annual event go to the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund for Cancer Research. Skylar Neil is the daughter of Vince Neil (lead singer of Motley Crue) who's battle with cancer resulted in her death at age four. Event supporters share their money for a great cause at CrueFest, and artists donate their talent and time. We all share love and verve for everyone one of us whose lives have been transformed by experiences with fatal illness, and the losses - and gains of perspective - that come with it.

CrueFest's continued success is testament to the strength and lasting power of the glam-metal-punk-rock phenomenon. Musicians under this wide and vibrant influence are recruiting the next generation of fans with every show. We at Cruefest know we are partly responsible for fueling the momentum of this edgy musical alliance. We invite you to come hear what freedom sounds like.

Playing this year's event will be Neil Wharton's Rock 'N Roll Junkies, Trashlight Vision(with Acey Slade from the Murderdolls), The Erotics, Sabrina Korva, FASTBACK(with Micheal Thomas from DJ Ashba+Beautiful Creatures+Tuff) , Vains of Jenna, The Backseat Superstars, Lovely, Blackout, Six, 33Degree, and Tuff. At the show you'll hear musicians based out of Hollywood, Los Angeles, Portland, Vancouver, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Sweden.
