What? No VH/Roth Live 8 Rumors???

Postby NUBMAN » Fri Jul 01, 2005 12:45 pm

Come on, I thought for sure the biggest event in music would want to include VH in some way. Maybe people dont care anymore since Ed is so goofy these days.
Pink Floyd are burying the hatchet. Dave and Ed cant kiss and make up for a few songs? Then again, Geldoff is boys with Floyd since the Wall movie.

Just a thought. This VH board is all but dead.

Peace!!! :D

Ed is......goofy??

I reckon it would be alright to see 'em briefly re-united, but I hear that Roth can't sing anymore, so.......
BTW man, this has been buggin' me for a while - the quote goes like this "That's why I hang around with two of 'em - if there has to be any conversation, I don't have to be involved!! Forgeddaboudit!!!"

And don't worry about the VH board mate.....it'll be fine. It's still one of the top three band boards on this site, current inactivity notwithstanding.

This would have been a great opportunity for them. I think they probably could have played it if they wanted to. I guess the band is dead...

I think that bands had to be 'invited' to play.....

Well, there are a lot of bands who I have never heard of playing it, so I think VH should have gotten an invite!

Really? Like who??
I don't really know who's playing, apart from the usual suspects, U2, Elton etc etc....

There are a lot of locations. Check out:

Click on a location to see who's playing. Who the hell is Bap, Razorlight, Snow Patrol... the obscure list goes on and on.

Nealisgod...

Why the hell wasn't VH, Journey, Styx, or REO, and Def Leppard invited??

Of those, I'd say, Journey, Styx, DL and REO are able to "go now" as they are touring and tight...

VH..? Ya, they missed an opportunity alright.

Hey, you say you have to be invited? Maybe not. Notice one BIG name missing? A really BIG name, and a guy who supports stuff like this? from NJ?

Springsteen should be somewhere..

It's a show for the masses and sadly our music is largely ignored by the masses, and the record companies.
