I’m sure you’re not expecting us to divulge a complete list b/c that would take forever considering there’s mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandma, grandpa, friends, coworkers ... & so forth. So I’ll just cover the most important 2 people in my life:

For Emily – Lots of Dora The Explorer stuff, Easy Bake Oven, jewelry making kit, & of course tons of clothes. She’s really into dresses & purses these days.

For Brandon – Big screen TV so he can throw out that antiquated 19” model with the tin foil wrapped antenna.

As for my “Wish List,” I don’t have one. I’ll be happy with whatever anybody gets me.

As far as trying to snag 2 Steelers tickets for my dad for the game on Sunday, I don't really want anything this Christmas, I'll leave that up to my lady. I'm more of the giver and I get fired up and excited when people open my gifts rather than open my own. Wrapping gifts Christmas Eve, looping my Grinch DVD puts me in the short, jolly mood that is Dec. 25th.

I got my girl some great thing's I think, she'll love everything. Her main gift this year is a Calvin Klein winter, fur hooded jacket. She needs one badly and it was originally $225 dollars but the sale price was $119 and I had a $25 dollar off gift card so I got a $225 dollar coat for $95 bucks so I lucked out there. She loves Nina Ricci perfume and could never afford the gift set and the big bottle so I got her that also. I also got her Amber Romance from Victoria Secret, also one of her fav's. I got her a charm bracelet last year and I added to that as well. Of course I got her inside jokes for her stocking stuffer and a bunch of lip glosses and socks and what not so she's ready to rock and roll.

I got momma her favorite perfume set and paid the extra to get her a purse and makeup kit to go with it. It's called "Beautiful" and said to be #1 in sales. I don't know anything about that but I'll take their word for it haha.

As far as my dad if I don't get the tickets, cross my fingers, then I'm getting him a 30 pack case of beer and $40 worth of scratch offs. He'll like that more than anything haha.

As far as what I want. I want the Steelers to kick the absolute dogshit out of Baltimore. 8) We'll see if that St.Nick dude listens to me.

Remember that heart-shaped music box that I made out of exotic wood about a year ago & posted pictures of it here? I was supposed to give it to my girlfriend at the time (aka bitch from hell). Luckily, I knew things weren't working out and decided to save it. My girlfriend loves the Wizard of Oz. So I took out the old music box that I had in it (Pretty Woman), and put in Over the Rainbow. I also made her an Astros mirror. I sandblasted the Astros logo onto a mirror and I painted the frame pink (her favorite color). That was really difficult for me to do because I'm a huge Cubs fan. I got her several other store-bought things as well.

My girlfriend likes to cross-stitch. For my birthday, she made a big Cubs logo cross-stitch pattern for me. She's making a new pattern for me for Christmas that she's been working on for the past month! She won't tell me what the design is but I'm pretty sure it's Journey related. If it is, I'll post pics of it here.

It wasn't the fact that the gift is for a girl that I thought was a bit odd rather that the concept of giving a gun for Christmas doesn't quite square with my take on the season of goodwill and peace to all men.

You like chick flicks and you give cool, handmade gifts ... GF is a lucky gal ... :D

Grooviest stuff I'm giving this year is a silk gown I bought in China for my mom and a folding hiking staff that will fit in carry on luggage for sidekick Kathryn.

Thanks, Linda. Cool gifts by you too! My home computer has crashed and I'm about to leave work so if I don't come back here until after Christmas, have a great one!

Maybe I should get a new laptop as a Christmas present to myself.
