Bret Michaels Suffers Brain Hemorrhage

Postby Jana » Sat Apr 24, 2010 7:16 am

Wow, really, really sad. I've been watching him on the Apprentice and have really enjoyed him. Hope for a good outcome.

"Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive hemorrhage near his brain stem, this according to People.com.

Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the report, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day.

According to the report, Michaels underwent several tests -- including CAT scans and MRIs.

The report claims it was determined Michaels suffered from a "subarachnoid hemorrage -- bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Earlier this month, Michaels was rushed to the hospital after experiencing stomach pains -- he ended up having his appendix removed."

I was just gonna post this. Here's to hoping a speedy and full recovery for Bret.

Luckily, I haven't seen him on The Apprentice lately... or ever. But that's a story for another day.

He is great TV... and has been stellar on the apprentice, Brett is the only guy that actually does the guts work for the guys... only creative guy...and Trump always wants to fire him almost every week... typical tycoon... kill the guy that does your work... promote the guys who kiss your ass... hope he has a speedy recovery...

Uh oh.....subarachnoid hemorrage. Not much chance of recovery from that....but one has to hold onto hope and the improbable to occur. :(

these things are bad.they had to take out a part of my moms brain stem or something around it to relieve swelling and it also caused her blood pressure to shoot up.we were up at that hospital for months.i think bret can pull through but it will be a long recovery.

I wondered the same thing, actually. Life can be a real trip. I wish Mr. Michaels a full, successful recovery with lots of love and blessings to last a lifetime.

They also said on TMZ in that story: We're told the next 24 to 48 hours are critical -- Bret will be closely monitored

Yeah...I had the "Look What The Cat Dragged In" album. I purchased it in Japan right when it was a brand new release. 24 years ago, crazy how time just flies!
