I'm not a man, but go for effortlessly stunning, not overdone for a blind date. I was out with friends after work one night for happy hour and dinner, and at dinner, I looked up over at the bar around nine, when the later crowd began coming in, and there were all these woman, same look, 35 to 50, skintight dresses, a little too short for their age in some instances, and many times not a flattering cut, and they all looked like they were trying too hard to get a man's attention with their outfit and over processed hair, and way too much tanning booth time, as they circled the bar. It was depressing to watch. And in walked two women, very pretty, really nice figures, both about 45, but one looking 39. Both had just a really soft, natural pretty look to them,not hard looking. One had on a great pair of jeans and really simple fitted white classic blouse tucked in, unbuttoned just right to give a hint of cleavage, with a great belt and and awesome sexy shoes and very pretty, shiny hair just flowing past her shoulders. The other one had on a sexy dress but not bright, a darker color, but very casual and simple yet classy, not too tight in the wrong places for her body type, and just the right short length and great sexy boots. Neither one had on much jewelry. Mens heads were turning left and right, even the guys at our table. LOL. Effortlessly stunning. They just seemed more confident than the other women and not trying so hard.

Whatever you choose, be comfortable. Don't put so much pressure on yourself and shopping. Nice fitting jeans, fun top, and great shoes will do it. It's all in how you feel- beauty, confidence, strengthn etc radiate from the inside.

I agree with Jana - effortlessly stunning is the way to go. Too sexy on a first date, especially a blind date when the guy probably doesn't know you at all, may give the wrong impression. You can combine classy with a hint of sexy! I think women of a certain age in that same uniform of skimpy tight dress, overprocessed hair, and noticeably fake tan may believe that they are fooling people into thinking they are in their 20s, but they really look older and give an unfortunate impression. Actually that describes someone I knew who styled herself like that at 28 (except it was a crop top and bellybutton ring) and it made her look much older and kind of "hard".

Dress for the occasion. Meaning depends on what your going to be doing and/or where you will be meeting up and spending your time during the date. Like if it's a laid back casual place like at Starbucks or something, you should then just wear stylish jeans and a nice shirt. If your meeting up at some fancy bar/club and then going out to a nice dinner, yeah, dress classy.

Nothing more sexier than a woman in heels-- NOTHING. Lather up the legs, get them all nice, shiny and smooth. Expose the quads/thigh to a certain point with a nice v neck top and compliment it with nice, sexy high heel action to exaggerate the definition in the calves. (I also love how a women walks in heels and the movement that goes with the body.) Also, make it classy and make a man use his imagination. Heels are the ticket. Just my .2cents. Good luck, haha.
