Not into Bioshock at all. I played the first game, and it's just not my thing. I read about the new one, but it's just not for me. The games I'm looking forward to are:

1. Call of Duty Black Ops
2. Medal of Honor
3. Castlevania (can't remember the subtitle)
4. Grand Turismo 5
5. Fable 3

Looking forward to:

Bioshock Infinite
Bulletstorm
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Batman: Arkham City
Dead Space 2
Alice: Madness Returns (sequel to 2000's American McGee's Alice)

The official end of the HALO franchise...thank fucking god.

Not looking forward to:

Kinect

Never was into gaming. I tried time and time again to get into it but grew bored with it. Only thing I play is Madden with my buddies but other than that, everything falls short. I envy gamers, looks so damn fun to go LIVE. My brother is a fuckin nut-case with this. Me? I'd be watchin sportscenter or training hah.

Ahh yes - Castlevania...what a great series...from what I can tell this looks to be 3D Castlevania that the series has deserved - however I wish they would make an over-the-top 2D game for the next generation systems...And the music for Castlevania has alot of great material - (some really rockin' stuff)

The best wrestling game ever was WCW/nWo World Tour. Loved that one. Pretty amazing how far we've trained our brains as far as a gaming society with graphics. I remember NFL Quarterback Club '98 was a stepping stone for me. I remember me and my bro RAVING about the "realistic" graphics and how "real" it looked. The logos were actually on the side of their helmets!

I've always loved gaming, but sadly, I don't get much time to play these days. I get the occasional 2-hour Call of Duty MW 2 Xbox Live 2 hour session, but I just don't have the time to invest in playing many different games, especially the ones with long single player campaigns.

GI Jim and I occasionally have a good time on Xbox Live, at least when he's not sucking cock at the game.

That's pretty much it for me as well (minus the cork sucking), it's a way for me and my brothers to stay in contact - decompress, tell jokes, quote movies etc...Call of Duty is pretty friggen awesome

My kid's really into that new Halo at the moment. It seems to have taken the best elements for the previous efforts and ramped up the difficulty. He still finished the regular mode rather quickly, it's the multi player that keeps him in Nirvana.

Whatever happened to 'Wolfentstein'?
Think I played 'Doom' or 'Quake' a couple of times too.

Not necessarily hate, just more casual. I work with a few girls/women who play video games, even if it's only Mario and/or Tetris, so they count

....But one of the women in my workplace is approaching her 40's and she's an avid fan of Pokemon and the Fire Emblem series.

And one of my facebook girl-type friends plays Final Fantasy games better than I do.

So, they're out there. Just gotta look more carefully.

So Jim - how does your wife like Kinect? I got it for Christmas - pretty much haven't sat down since! Only thing is - hubby bought me the wrong dance game (I wanted Dance Central because at least I know some of the songs on it). It came with some adventure game, which got boring pretty quick. But I've ordered Dance Central, the Zumba workout thingy and the Motion Sports games, should be here any day. I'm addicted! (and sore  )

It really is amazing! My husband bought the Dance Masters game - it's a bit too 'clubby' (and way too complicated for me right now!) But there is a demo of Dance Central on the other game I got - I've already 5-starred Poker Face on 'medium' in 2 days (if we never hear that song again I'll be happy  ). The Zumba one looks like a lot of fun - I love Latin music and dancing and always wanted to try a Zumba class - now I can embarass myself in the comfort of my own home

She LOVES the Kinect! She's been playing it several times per week. She pretty much just plays Dance Central. Every time someone comes over now, they bust out the Dance Central, but I'm not a fan. I'm glad she's loving it though, and that's all that counts. :D
