Deano provided a lot of that. He had a way of bringing it out of other forum members. It may have been the shock factor or whatever, but it was better than death warmed over.

I understand the need to be civil. But if it makes the forum go sterile, is it worth it?

Truth be told, IMO, the entire cast of characters have been posting here lately. Saint John is more productive, John from Boston is back, and so are a lot of others.

As for humour, I still see it, but not at the levels it used to be. Perhaps some of us can change our posting styles and get back to that...

I think we are missing many of the "characters" who were the butt of the jokes :lol:

There's been a nice little renaissance here. I'm not posting nearly as much as I used to, I'm too busy right now, but I still enjoy following the boards and it's been great to see some of the characters make long-awaited returns.
