That's a big downer for me. I hate when it gets dark that early.

Been there done that! Just be glad you aren't working tonight-that makes for a 13 hour shift. It seems I was ALWAYS scheduled for the "fall back" night and never the "spring ahead" night!!

Don't forget to change the batteries in smoke detectors too

Oh, no my batteries get changed in each one all different times of the year...usually when the low battery annoying beep starts up at 3am! It's especially great when that happens in my bedroom with the high ceilings! Of course they pick the highest point to place that smoke detector!!

So, we'll start out in daylight with Gary Schutt next weekend, and it'll be dark by the time Rick Springfield finishes?
Weather forecast says 86 during the day and 60 at night.

I was hoping for 70's during the day since everything we enter that thing with, we have to carry all day. 81 will be warm and i wanted to wear a warmer kind of shirt. Oh well. Hopefully the humidity will be lower at least. Never know anyway! I think weather prediction here is always off!! That's a week awayhey, we could wear our thongs without jeans at 81

Where the heck do you live that it's not dark until 6pm? Hell, it was darker much sooner that in Boston before we went fucking with the clocks. It was completely dark here before 4:30 today which means that the snow can't be far behind![]()

That's certainly no different than here in the summer. During the summer, it's definitely light out until 8 or a bit after. As for the winter, I believe our earliest sunset in Boston is the second week of December and I believe the sun sets at about 4:10 in the afternoon.StevePerryHair wrote: Or the north east is like living in alaska?![]()
We have a whole lot of jackasses in the northeast, but I'm not sure anyone is close to the Sarah Palin stratosphere, so I would have to say that this place is NOTHING like Alaska
