Well, she messed up more than one word. It was words and and entire verse. That being said, it can't be easy to sing in that environment. Lots of noise, nervousness, time constraints, cameras, and timing the flyover. She messed up and immediately apologized for it.

More important, why was there a flyover at a domed stadium. What a waste of resourses. Maybe they could have used that money and effort to get those 400 seats installed on time and in fire code so fans didn't get jobbed at the gate.

what happened to just SINGING the song? Why does this song have to be some kind of endurance test for the singer (not to mention the audience).
I like Aguilera. She's got an amazing voice.
But I didn't dig her interpretation at all.
EVERY WORD does not need some kind of vocal acrobatic maneuver.
