Robin Zander is right up there too, but most here know that.

Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

Bar none for me: Dennis DeYoung, too lazy to get a video right now.

Just saw him. Yes he is right there too. Just doesn't sing the high tenor the Journey types adore here, but I agree.

Hegets my vote too. He certainly has taken care of his voice over the years.

in any discussion on vocal preservation, John Farnham has to be very near the top of the list. The only singer I've ever heard sing a verse in a HIGHER key live than the studio version.

45 years in show business...

rather dodgy concert compilation of 2011....there aren't many 60+yr olds who can still sing like this

If Farnham is not at the very top of the list I'd like to know who is, exceptional.

I vote for Zander, so does my husband....really amazing considering some of his songs I sing along with can challenge me and I am a high soprano.

Gotta give props to Tommy Shaw here too. Incredible that he can still hit those notes like it was still '77.

Steve Perry has preserved his vocals from the 70's and 80's so damn well by not performing again, he gets my vote.

Klaus Meine still sounded incredilby good last I heard him. More remarkable considering that he has a had surgery on his vox more than once and nearly lost his voice completely.

Maybe a little off the mainstream for this forum, but Derek St. Holmes from Ted Nugent's band still sounds great.

I could see that even though the last time I heard him sing live was in '99.

+1 for Tommy. He sounds exactly the same way he did at the beginning. +1 also for DDY. And since the question didn't specify male only, Ann Wilson has got to be mentioned.
