Well yeah, I have a problem with that! I can't remember so many quotes!

I really wish I could do better at remembering lines, and plots too, for that matter! A couple of weeks ago I wanted to read the book again that was about m-o-o-n. So I took Dean Koontz Strangers... Only halfway through I realised that this was not the book I had in mind, so I had to ask Bobbi. He rolled his eyes, said that I did come close though, and then laughed at me really hard.

Are you referring to 'The Stand' and Tom Cullen?

Not even in the same universe......Bobbi was being nice to you.

Ahm... actually he said something like M-O-O-N, that spells blond!

I was referring to The Stand! I haven't finished it yet. I've chosen the extended edition to read, so hopefully, even if I forget half of it, I still will remember a lot. Smart move, huh?

It's a fantastic book.....but then maybe we should start a book thread to discuss books.

Yeah, it's about time I post my AOTW... I wouldn't know really which one, since the pile I choose my CDs to play from has gone; so now I have heard every CD I played only once.

Oh well, I'm listening right now to The Little River Band - Streams Of Succes. Kind of relaxing. :)

As many of you already know I'm lost in the past, my AOTW is a real classic: Elvis Presley - Sings For Children And Grownups ( ) Too.

What can I say, Ma started crying when got to hear "Old Shep", she hadn't heard it since the late 60's!

Elvis fans die hard!

Yours sincerely,

Thomas

My AOTW goes to Lunatica "Fables & Dreams." It's still amazing how a simplistic power metal formula can easily outperform the entire playing field of 2004 (with exception of WT) when it has a dominating keyboard prescence and a killer female vocalist.

Age of Silence-Acceleration. A bunch of known death and black metal guys doing a prog album with clean vox, piano, crunchy guitar and stringy bits. Really quite good.

I haven't heard Rhythm of Time yet....i've got Feeding the Wheel and i thought it was gay.....sort of Halford gay....but gay none the less. I hear this one is a lot better and has some serious guitar action on it. But anything with Greg Howe on it gets the nod of approval...even a Justin Timberlake concert. :D

My AOTW goes to 7 Months "S/T." After a little research, I was very disappointed with the poor reviews this album got. It's very AOR, but with progressive traits, very keyboard driven, and the singer could very well be a Trent Gardner clone (Magellan singer if you're asking.) This is one album that is so godly underappreciated that it makes a person sick. I think a lighter prog sound would sound a lot better than some of the speedy heavy stuff that has come out in recent years.

Pain of Salvation-Be....i got the live dvd/cd of this the other day and its unfuckingbelievable. The concert was actually shot a bit before the album was recorded. Daniel Gildenlow is one great singer.
