OHYEA dude! I'm totally in with this one. Benoist's personality is a treat. I immediately took a liking to her and she is very likeable and teenish while still having an awesome and fun presence. I'm kind of shocked. Wasn't expecting it to be that great to be honest. I'm pleased that this is the thing I need to get into television and especially the Supergirl character. There was something about Kara I always liked but nothing to put me over the edge into buying fully into her. This could be the push for me as a fan. I wanted to like it but was expecting not to so I'm thrilled. Great trailer. Now lets hope the series itself follows through.

Check out the FX-intensive Legends of Tomorrow trailer.

Hawkgirl, ATOM, White Canary, Firestorm, Heatwave, Rip Hunter, Captain Cold...DC's first legit superteam show.

Umm, seriously? That looks horrible. The target audience seems to be moviegoers who thought Man of Steel needed to be more like The Devil Wears Prada. If this appeals to you YoungJRNY, maybe you should Netflix Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, or The Carrie Diaries. Because this looks about as "good" as those shitty shows.

Yeah people are going nuts and it looks damn good. It's these types of moments that sell somebody like me on the product for sure. It's very hard, for me, to look past Routh but he's done a good job with Palmer so far. Imo, Routh was more built for this than the big screen.

I'm not a television person whatsoever. Should it be alarming that you know those chick shows off the top of your head?

All things in consideration, my expectations were low. I'm not going to act like there won't be wincing, teeth grinding and nauseating dialogue when it comes to many aspects of Supergirl. I'm smart enough to realize that there is a targeted demographic in place when it comes to shows such as this, and that's to bring in a more female drivin' product, one where the scene is dominated but its male counterparts.

What I saw in the SG trailer actually goes against the grain when it comes to the things I like. It's the usual cheese that makes me stay away for the most part. It's a refreshing welcome to what I prefer.

I want to be proven wrong with this when it comes to my own taste. Here, the cheese didn't feel forced like the usual. It stuck and felt natural. I should have hated it. I'm surprised I got great vibes from it and actually really liked what I saw (that could change quick once the season airs.)

The acting sold me and the tone makes sense for the character the show is selling, especially as a television series (which I think is sad that I can totally see Marvels Thor, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark show up in this Supergirl universe and not be out of place  )

That said, this could be awful. I'm not ruling that out whatsoever, especially since I'm the 'not-into-television' type person so I will be grading harshly. Despite the lollipop "Devils Wear Prada" vibe it seems to be drawing from, it shows that Benoist is a good enough actress to balance out the inevitable sores the show will have.

The action, for a television budget, is top-notch and I'm interested in the angle they are taking with the story itself. Plus, I'm a sucker for the Superman name-drops and love those references and connections to what that might bring but overall, I'm more sold on Benoist than anything and think her acting could prevail when it's all said and done. There's chemistry there in the trailer.

The second trailer is better and I will give the show a fair chance:

I'm hearing Mad Max is about to take over and could easily be this summers innovative power-punch for movie-goer's. The praise's for this one is sky high. This might be the summer ticket I purchase.

I have been waiting for this movie for YEARS! Like back when Miller first announced it, and Mel was actually going to be in it.

Not only is it finally here, but it is commanding favorable reviews, and its averages are uncommonly high for a new blockbuster flick. Critics and fans alike are jizzing over it. I can't wait to see it.

It won't make the most money this year (that little movie coming out in December will), but I predict it will be my fave of 2015.

Would be quite the kick in the balls if Pitch Perfect 2 tops Fury Road at the box office. This week, I have to try to check out Max 4 (which looks badass) AND the Sam Raimi-produced Poltergeist remake. Talk about balls. Raimi is taking a much beloved Spielberg-classic and trying to improve it. My hunch is he will fall flat on his face.

Mad Max: Fury Road is R-rated, so it's definitely not going to beat it. The sequel is $20M ahead of Max's return, and the first movie is something of a phenom, I guess. Even Howard Stern said he liked it.

You're right, Poltergeist comes out next week and I have seen NO promo for it. Zilch. Tumbleweeds. That's really bizarre. It'll definitely bomb, like the remakes of The Fog and The Thing. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I think Doomsday will be a mutated derivation of Zod's corpse, created via the "Doomsday Genome."

Bear in mind that if this is indeed the case, it doesn't mean they're going to be doing the "Death of Superman" storyline.

By the way, Mad Max: Fury Road was fucking AWESOME.

It BLEW AWAY Age of Ultron in every way: action, dialogue, sets, FX. Very little CG was used. The stunts are incredible.

Mel Gibson even formally passed the torch to Tom Hardy, and they couldn't have chosen a better actor to grab the reins. The whole cast is great.

It will blow your balls out through your cornhole. GO SEE IT!

I agree. Doomsday is one of the main villains that just won't die out when it comes to rumors. If the rumor is still around by this point, more than likely Doomsday is in this thing in some capacity (if so, probably played by Callan Mulvey.)

I absolutely love the idea of Doomsday being a dimension and exoskeleton of Zod's corpse. At this point, who knows. If Superman perish's somewhere along this one movie's timeline, he will either return at the end or return with a big part in Justice League, which could in turn, set up his next solo. I agree X2, however, that just because Doomsday could be more of the bigger threat in all of this besides Lex, it doesn't necessarily mean the Death of Superman storyline is coming into play.

There could be a more logical explanation as to why Doomsday either exists or is created but it's a filmakers job to twist some things into not appearing to what they may seem and Doomsday may be apart of that plan. Though, Snyder does love source material and every time Cavill spoke after Man of Steel, those things happened and he did indeed mention Doomday. Plus, Doomsday was planted on the Man of Steel extra's purposely:

The Doomsday rumor has been in effect since 2013. Daniel Alter, a WB producer, did an interview back in 2013 and said how we should expect Wonder Woman and Doomsday in BvS. So far, one is confirmed:

^I didn't know Alter had said that! I've only heard rumors stemming from a photo of Henry and Michael (Shannon) taken last year.

I think I may have to see this movie at midnight (or 7PM, whichever is earlier).

Jon Schnepp at AMC Theater talked today about how WB is courting George Miller to direct DCCinematic movies; more than likely Justice League, which would give Zack Snyder a breather after Batman V Superman, which WB will then bump Snyder to direct the next Superman solo with Affleck directing the Bat solo. All speculation of course.

Miller knows how to direct action. It would behoove WB to have him direct League. He knows how to direct action with multiple actors. He's great with angles. The cinematography in Fury Road is awesome. The next Max movie is happening, so it depends on what Miller wants to focus on.

The Flash just got some awesome talent involved in his movie:

Phil Lord on FLASH movie:

Phil Lord, along with creative partner Chris Miller, has turned into one of the most reliable writer/directors in Hollywood, and that means he’s got a hand in quite a few different projects. One is The Flash, the big-screen version of DC’s speedster hero, which Lord reveals will likely be a Barry Allen Flash movie. That’s the same version of the character seen on TV. Grant Gustin plays the TV Flash, while Ezra Miller will be the big-screen star.

“We’re trying to break a story. It’s interesting, because there’s a really popular TV show out there, and we’re trying to carve out space for the movie that’s apart from that. I think we’re doing alright. … I believe [our Flash] is going to be Barry Allen. … It’s going to be it’s own [thing, apart from the TV show] — we’re more trying to stick with the cinematic universe… it really is its own thing, and kind of a stand-alone movie. We’re just trying to think of the best story. I think you guys will like it, it’s kind of a different take on superhero stuff.”

Lmao, I thought the same thing. He stands over her and then walks away to the other side of the car and then Harley gets up and walks off screen. I saw the entire scene when they were shooting. When they are face to face before Harley points a gun to Mistah J's head, I love how Leto walks around her and use's his body in a classic Joker'esq way. This is going to be so damn good.

I won't post anymore though. I'm cutting myself off. 8)
