Had to drive home after the gig doing 40km/h most of the way through a nice pea soup type fog.

That´s no fun to drive in! You have to stay so focused driving in fog ...because you see everything later than normal.

Going to the city today ......visit the recordshop :D

Just wanted to bust in here for a minute and say howdy to all of you. Hope life has been good for you all. Life has been great for me. I got married on April 8th and am spending time with my new wife. Job is still doing well too! That's pretty much it for me.

Talk to you guys later. Take care, and have a good one!

Oh yeah, here is something funny I stumbled across while viewing another forum:

This weekend will be busy. I'm meeting a friend I haven't seen in months. I'll be helping him out with some work-related projects. Maybe if time allows after, one of my older bro's exterior walls needs to be rebuilt. Not fun, but it has to be done.

Even on my days off I can't take a break. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd say that my life is all work and no play.

I checked some tours online and found out that Leaves' Eyes will be playing the Palladium in November (the same place I saw Nightwish a couple years ago.) But I'll be hard-pressed to find a ride down. That would be some show to see.

Congrats TX! :D

Jonny, November is still a long way down, so you may come across someone who you can catch a ride with before that time. :)

Yeah, you were lucky with the sunshine at the concert! And it wasn't even Y&T who were playing!

On my way to the store today I was listening to my Ipod, with Roger Glover's Butterfly Ball playing... David Coverdale sang a beautiful song, and I noticed again how much I love his voice as a 'seventies' voice... not sure how to describe it... sounding full of warmth and inviting us to wear flower wreaths basically. The song was kind of slow and the vocals were laidback and dark, especially the hmm hmmm part was so beautiful.

I went to look for a soundbyte to post here but all I could find was a 30 second live video. SnakeLady, you may want to close your eyes and just listen to DC's voice, it's a bit scary, this clip!
It's not as laidback nor as well produced as the album track, but hopefully still gets the idea across.

Yes I know what you mean with his voice ...the warmth.

Enjoy your dinner(s)!

Nothing new in my life. I've been working alot. And when I haven't been working, I'm catching up on some old-school video games that I finally found copies of (and have become extremely addicting to play!) Any gamers out there familiar with the Shining Force series?

One more day to the Eden's Lie cd release party! Two other bands are having a cd release party at the same gig. It'll be friggin' crowded! And we're hanging out the whole weekend, and I plan to do some shopping. Basically, if I come back home with money in my wallet, then I will be disappointed.

I mean, even though Tali has sent me some pretty hot soft porn pics of himself, you are still it.....ever. You are the one.

Eden's Lie ROCKED during the weekend!

The other bands were very disappointing.

I had little luck shopping for cds, but still had a blast all the way around.
