yeah, keep smoking that pipe bro....
SEC competition is by far the bst in the country. The pollsters know it, the coaches around the country knows it. Thats why a win, especially on the road in a hostile home environment on a saturday night nationally televised game is huge no matter how sloppy.

I'm not the one smoking the pipe here....I also hate the Longhorns with every bone I have....I'm a suffering Texas A&M guy.

I'm thinking that the polls might have somethign to say about this weekend..That's all.

at the end I can guarantee an undefeated SEC team, probably even a one loss SEC team in the NC...bank it.

Ihate the Hawks... but if Iowa wins out.. they deserve to be there... and a whole lot of other teams that might be undeafeted will have a lot to say if a 1 loss school gets in the NC title game... Iowa's defense against Florida would be awesome...

oh and another note one for the ages... ISU beats Nebraska on the strangest win in school history... 9-7 with their two best offensive players out... I would never guess 5-3 at this stage of the year...and with close loses at KSU and KU... wow... the Iowa loss doesnt seem so terrible now... but coulda and woulda are meant for losers... :-) and love our coach now in Paul Rhodes... That chizak can wreck havock on Aurburn all he wants... ;-)

Go Cyclones... ;-) Its been way too LONG for us to get excited about a win like this...

awesome! Texas A and M better be careful not to overlook ISU next week...

with the hawks out of contention for the national title picture and back up QB, doubt if Iowa wins the next two games, they have a ton of injuries this year...so they have over achieved this whole year!! Business wise I want the hawks to win out... but I dont think that will happen... hard to believe that Iowa had 2nd longest win streak until last weekend...

I like Texas to play Flordia for national championship if Florida and Texas win out...

oh and Florida is #1 as long as no one beats them... doesnt mean I like em... just got to respect the teams that keep on winning... :-)

Any organization that measures margin of victory as the leading indicator of ranking - is bogus.

I think Iowa will be lucky to score points the next two weeks, let alone thinking of wins.

HEY OT... but LOVE That new Twins stadium and how its been constructed!! looking forward to seeing that team next summer, in their new home. Been reading online about all the features and saw the park in August driving to the Target Center for the moody blues show... It will be a beautiful baseball park!! The old logo too coming back to play!! AWESOME.

BTW, hoping the Golphers destroy the hawks, I am a Cyclone fan!!

Time to quit complaining about Oregon's uniforms. Turns out that Nike has a list of 10 schools it is outfitting with not only new Nike Pro Combat uniforms, but also a new slogan for each team.

FriendsOfTheProgram.com is reporting that this Saturday will be the first time that you'll start to see the new Pro Combat uniforms on Virginia Tech, TCU, Ohio State, Florida State, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, LSU, Missouri and Miami. Each team will also wear dry fit t-shirts underneath with a different slogan on it. For instance, Florida's will say "Finish the Mission" on them. The new uniforms are said to be 37 percent lighter than current togs.

Of course, the big question is, does this mean that Oregon is falling out of favor as the science experiment school for the sports giant? Why are the Ducks not being outfitted with the lighter uniforms? Maybe it's just Phil Knight's attempt not to look biased?

Ive seen Florida's and man, they are hideous. They will bring them out for the last game against FSU. Such a shame that Tebows last game in the swamp will be dressed in that.

Hang in there sweetie...it'll get better (with or without RR next year).

I'm nervous about THE GAME this year...I've seen it all before in my life...UofM is "lurking" while TOSU gets "overconfident".

I think the Navy loss sunk his job!! (pun intended... ) sorry.

Ferenez at Iowa is always mention for another job year after year..will this be the year he does take aother offer... go out on top, move to the NFL??? But he looks content when I see him during the interviews...

Mich coach gone??? possibly.
