His "poor wife" has so much money that she could hire the Chippendales to come over and entertaining her every night of the week. Granted, cheating is wrong, but there are a lot of cheaters out there and apparently Tiger is one of them. With money and fame comes opportunities that would not be afforded to us normal folks. You never know how you would react to it until it happens. Most people would not be able to resist the temptations that Tiger faces on a daily basis. That's why celebrities switch mates so often.

I see your point there, but Tiger should be called out for what he is. The argument people are framing is that it's Tiger who deserves privacy. He certainly doesn't.

He's a public figure and his life will be made public, that's the price you pay and this I understand!!
But, he's made his statement/admission, I'm sure he confessed to his wife FIRST...what more do
people want?!?! From the posts I see here, it sounds as though some want all of the dirty details
publicized for their entertainment w/no regard to his family, because it will HELP his wife.![]()
“ I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone. ”

Because you have money makes her life happy and makes it all right? Women don't want Chippendales. They want love. She is young enough and has more than enough money to leave him and find someone who truly loves and respects her. Of course, now she knows the extent of his double life. I'm not even judging him for having been unfaithful. But the pattern of his lifestyle as far as unfaithfulness and the degree to which he has been is frightening for such a young marriage and didn't bode well for the future, and I would want to know what scum he is, screwing so many women and even one for three years, so I would have the knowledge in deciding what to do and not be played a fool.

Hillary another good example of being up on top and shot down by media and politcal hacks..but she brushes her self off and starts over...

Shouldn't being a good guy start at home? Who cares if you're feeding the homeless or helping the handicapped. Shouldn't the integrity of your family be your highest priority before anything else? I just don't feel that that good deeds to strangers balances out bad deeds that cause grief to your family, it's just not the same thing.

Voyager wrote:Face it - Tiger is a good golfer and a bad cheater. Who cares? He never said he was a religious leader. If you like golf, watch Tiger on ESPN. If you like good morals, watch Pat Robertson on TBN. You can have one without the other.
Voyager wrote:How many guys could be Jon Bon Jovi without getting some trim on the side? I would bet that less than 20% of guys could resist the temptation. Hot looking women probably throw themselves at him during every concert. All it takes is one moment of weakness to cheat. I'm not saying it's okay to do so, but just that if you don't want to cheat - don't become a celebrity.
