I've got that one doggy and love it. I don't like Bitter Sweet & Twisted near as much, though. I've always been a big fan of the Faces and early Rod Stewart...that ragged, boogie-woogie rock & roll sort of thing.

I'm not so sure about that anymore. I just had a look at the festival website to see how long Symphony X will play on the festival, but they have disappeared from the confirmed band list. :?
The Symphony X website says they will play at this festival, and they are touring with Queensryche, who are on the confirmed band list. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

AOTW for me goes to Circle II Circle "Watching In Silence". There are a couple tracks I don't care for, but they're easily offset with great tracks such as "Sea of White," "Into the Wind," and "Forgiven." By far, Zak Steven's best work.

My pick this week is RAUNCHY-Confusion Bay.. This is the Danish band's second album....they sound kind of like Soilwork without the solos.

AOTW for me goes to the Nightwish "End of Innocence" bonus cd that came with the dvd. I don't remember the last time I liked a live album this much. It's even better when you watch the DVD version on the bonus features. :D

Brotherly Harmony by The Nelsons is my ATOW.
It might sound countrylike, those harmonies just out of this world.
I am very big fan of Nelson, and only cd which is eluding my collection is their tribute to their father. Was out bid, when I saw it on Ebay. The cd is selling for $US25, on thenelsonbrothers.com site.

Just picked up Billy Swans, "I Can Help," for my collection. Don't laugh! It's a gem.

Seventh Key "The Raging Fire". Very good album by Mike Slamer, but I miss his Steelhouse Lane project.

Their other one 'Liberation' is also good, very good prog-rock. Good choice.

The cd that hasn't left my player in a week or so is Brainstorm - Metus Mortis. Chock full o' big, meaty riffs.

After long search, i finaly found my missing peice of my L.A. Guns collection. I found for a cheap price of $Aus 5, the Wasted CDep.
Another cd that I was able tracked down was Fee Waybill's Read My Lips cd. This just gets better every listens, and I have played it 4 times all ready.

From the listing I gather it's a compilation. I don't like compilations, since it's an easy way to make money. Make ten compilations with each one just one 'previously unreleased' song, and you make more money than release one new album with ten new originals. Weasel you out of money! Shame!

Could be a cool introduction though for people that aren't familiar with Skynyrd!

Ya thats pretty much it. Kinda like a Box Set. You have all the songs on other CD's except for those "Rare" or "Unreleased" few extras
Unless your a really big fan and have to have every CD. You could probably leave it alone :D

I've just gone and put on my Van Halen bootleg of pre 1978 cover tunes...the quality is fairly average as you can imagine but it is still good value.

AOW is a tough battle between Steve Vai-Mystery Tracks Archives Vol 3 and the new In Flames-Soundtrack to your Escape.

Vai wins because he is Vai.
