Now many years later most of your hair has fallen out.....something weirdly karmic about it all :D

AOW is Eidolon-The Parallel Otherworld. They do a Mercyful Fate cover and holy shit....Nils K Rue does the best King Diamond impersonation.

It's a long time since I heard something from him. Wonder if he's alive and recording...

As for my choice... Fear Factory - Digimortal... Probably one of their easier to digest albums. At least the easiest I have.

AOTW is Within Temptation "The Silent Force," still my #1 favorite female rocker. Two years later, no female-fronted album has been able to topple it.

AOTW goes to Lacuna Coil "Karmacode." I gave it an average review musically speaking, but the music is still catchy as hell. Exactly as I thought commercial goth would sound had the trend ever picked up in the states.

Been hooked past couple of days on Bad Company's Company Of Strangers cd. Title track is awesome. Very under rated cd New singer Corey came on board. Most songs compare good with other too versions of the band.-ERIC

That one's on my to-get list. But local music stores still list it as an expensive import.

Listened to that one too! 8) Still, I'm going for Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat this week. So relaxing. Many songs on it make me want to sit on a tropical island and gaze at the waves a bit. With the weather we've been having this week, when I close my eyes, I'm almost there. :)

My AOTW goes to Masterplan "S/T." It took a dozen listens, but I'm finally getting into their first one. There's no way in hell they'll be able to replace Jorn Lande...maybe they can get the singer from Beautiful Sin.

It is....it's a good tune too, called 'End of light'.

Great band, I think the singer is a weak link though - having said that, he's waaaay batter than some of the other guys out there.

My AOTW goes to Nocturnal Rites "The Grand Illusion." I borrowed their back catalogue from my bro, but I can conclude that this is their best effort so far. All for the same reasons as last time. Crunchier, hookier guitars, more keyboards, and the grunt track.
