Well... little miss Bride hasn't called back yet to tell me where to meet her at, the actual rehearsal was at the church. The dinner... I have no clue. Maybe this is a stroke of luck, maybe I won't have to go after all! YAY! :P

My best vote for a wedding tune is Coyote Ugly, the song not the movie.......

"She was Coyote ugly, a flower without a bloom, I knew I was in trouble when she howled at the Moon"

That's gold right their lady!

You're taking light in my misery. :?
Hahaha... I'll survive. She was my best friend from 8th grade on, she knows too much about my past for me to piss her off. And she joined the Navy not long after graduation, and I haven't seen her... in... half a decade. More. One of those things. Grin and bear it... or is it grin and bare it?

Well, that wasn't so bad. I had to reach back into my childhood memory to be able to find my way to her parent's house. I was repeating "Trapper Drive... Trapper Drive..." But with no worry. I found it, talked to her for a few minutes and she invited me to come hang out with everyone while they're getting ready tomorrow, and I said "Yes, less people." And cut out of there. I've missed that girl!

We were looking at olllllllldd dorky pictures of us when we were 12 on our way out to Tennessee for a vacation, and we got bored and stuck pencils and cheetos in our noses and were waving at passing cars like that. Yes, I'd still do it today.

I remember how we met too, its hilarious. In seventh grade I had a crush on her boyfriend, they broke up, he asked me to the dance, she got jealous and stole him back. We HATED each other... until in 8th grade we had detention together and after about five minutes of glaring looks, we both just started laughing. And we were inseperable until I graduated (I graduated early).

Apparently the big point of me showing up last night was to meet the groom. She needed my blessing. How sweet is that? What if I had said "No, he's too short for you." or "No, he seems to have weird genetics, don't reproduce." I doubt it would have mattered, but its the thought that counts.

He stuck out his hand and said "Hey, my name is (I forgot it already), I'm the groom."
I said, "Yeah, gathered that."

He seems real nice though. Anyhow, now I have to get a million other things done at work, and THEN go meet them at the hair place, and then come back to work for a meeting, and then go get ready, and be at the church ready to rock by 3:00.

Yes yes, even though I can't decide on their first dance song.

I said "Ashley, what do you want, anything in particular."
She said, "No, whatever you pick will be fine."

That's some heavy stuff. You know, they'll always remember the first song they dance to as a married unit.

I think I'll either go with "Long Trip Alone" -- Dierks Bentley or the new Tim & Faith song, "I Need You."

I like Dierks too. He's a hottie. He kissed my cheek once. Le sigh...

Anyhow... I only have a radio station with over 6,000 songs at my disposal, and my own iTunes, another 2,000.

I just wish it weren't raining like all get out. Its a very dark, dingy day.
