A whole week without a post. I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Sunday! I'm down in Charlotte at one of my favorite little refuges, a little bakery/coffee house where I can lounge on a couch, next to a fireplace and watch the world go by.

I'm serious. Last December (the 18th exactly) I cut my hair off to right above my jawline. Then in April it had grown from there down to my shoulders and I chopped it again, then decided to let it grow and now it is at the bottom of my shoulder blades... that's about 8 inches, and 7 months. You do the math.

I didn't slay Elton. I like her. Just good natured ribbing. Hussy-cakes.

Laura give a listen to Skyline Pigeon from Empty Sky and Ticking from Caribou.
The man has every ounce of my attention on those two songs.
I don't appreciate all his works but I do on a good percentage for sure.

Well, I'm not sure what concerts you all went to, but Elton is a damn good entertainer. Nothing but piano, guitar, bass, keys, percussion and drums. ALL LIVE! The only effects were ones on the keys and the keyboardist actually played them. No computers, nothing. I was 4 rows to the side of the stage, right behind the sound board and the only thing the guy did was adjust the gain. Whether you like EJ or not, you must admit the man can PLAY the piano!
