It's a documented fact that Bush illegally used taxpayer money to pay reporters to write pro-Bush policy stories.
Oddly enough, I don’t recall you or anyone here being up in arms over this.
Why is that?

Right.
Because someone with a folksy, southern twang and rolled up shirt sleeves simply must be telling the truth.
Bush’s entire term is defined by a lie on the magnitude of Goebbels and then some.

Bush's entire term was defined by lies. Obama's the rare sequel that outdoes the original.

Anyone who disagrees with Obama is automatically classified as a racist. That's what is so sick about all of it.

What?
It was old fashioned parody, just like the times Limbaugh plays "Barak the Magic Negro" or calls our President "the little black man child."
You guys seem to be ok with that.
No sense in letting only one thinly-veiled biggoted asshole partake in all the KKK fun, right?

What about all the brainwashing media who threw President Bush under the bus hundreds of times? It's okay for them to say that, but the minute something negative is said about Obama...it's terrible!!!!!!!

TNC's race card has been in his bicycle spoke so long now that it's flimsy and barely causes a riffel. ie...worn out. If you were female he'd have layed out a disgusting sex visual of you. Typical lib tricks. Smears, nuts and sluts defense, they all eventually seem to resort to that stuff. To me that's better than no debate at all though. Entertaining in a twisted sort of way.

Yes, but hey, we disagree with him, so we are racists.

Just what the forum needs…another Neocon hick dumbass.
What toppled over outhouse did you climb out of?
The big bad liberal media you speak of carried Bush's water for him throughout most of his term.
In case you forgot, it was none other than the New York Times that served as Dick Cheney’s stenographer in getting out the WMD lie.

I’m talking about Rush Limbaugh calling Obama a “negro”, “a quadroon” and a “little black man child.”
If you have specific instances of Bush being unfairly reported on, let’s hear it.
I can’t equate two things without knowing what the other first is.

Evidently that's how he thinks...I mean it's all laid out right up this thread. Nary a word on race was mentioned until TNC sauntered into the discussion. He's trying to extrapolate something that isn't there to twist the argument now that The One is getting some grief.

Hope he doesn't choke on his taco like Obama chokes on his words when he's speaking without a teleprompter.

Oh, that's what that's called??? Hmmm, I thought it was called getting caught with your pants down and then throwing whomever necessary under the bus to save face. Of course, that's getting to be a broken record with him. Let's see... Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers... With friends like him, who needs, well...

The One wrote:"Because this has been ratcheting up and I helped contribute to ratcheting it up, I want to make clear that in my choice of words I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department or Sgt. Crowley specifically and I could have calibrated those words differently."

"My sense is you've got two good people in a circumstance in which neither of them were able to resolve it the way the wanted to resolve it," Obama added
.

Where's the apology? He DID malign the police and he should've just STFU about it.

Obama has said he was surprised by the controversy sparked by his comments. White House spokesman Roberts Gibbs said early Friday that the president regrets that the media have gotten all worked up over the controversy and been distracted from other more substantive issues such as health care.

Donna,
Just yesterday you tried to pass off a Linden LaRouche article on this forum as a serious news source.
If you're truly that ignorant, who the fuck are you to be commenting on politics?
Seriously.

Donna...apparently you struck a nerve with Mr. taco... Nice diversion tactic there taco. Give us some examples of Mr Obama "owning up" to any of his mistakes. As she said... He DOES throw everyone under the bus. Whether you hear the man do it on Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, HNN... he still does it.

Donna, this is a perfect example of what those on the left do when they know they're wrong...smear, and then dodge the question. Nice job Donna.

I didn't try to pass off anything. I presented information about Britain's problems with their socialized medicine. Just because you don't like the author, doesn't make the information any less valid.

I am ignorant on many things, I'll be the first to admit it. I'll take my ignorance over your arrogance any day. As for commenting on politics, my American citizenship gives me the right to say anything I want. Sorry about your luck if you don't like it. :P

I know. It's in the liberal handbook, I believe. It's relentless and totally uncalled for. Can't attack the presentation, so I'll just attack the presenter. TNC is alright (funny even) when he's not berating folks. Which unfortunately is too often.

That's politics.

You know what? I've never claimed to be a genius when it comes to politics. There ARE a lot of things I don't understand. One thing I do understand though, is that 95% of the time that you post on here, you're either degrading someone, arguing with someone, or just plain being a PRICK!

Secondly, saying "The buck stops here" and "a few years from now you'll have a new president" aren't apologies. Granted, there are ALWAYS going to be clips out there of a president apologizing every now and again. When it counts (like when he just made an ASS of himself on national news), he won't apologize. He WILL however have a beer in the White house with the cop though. I wouldn't accept the damn invitation if I were him!

Even though I'm just some "Dumb conservative hick", I'm smart enough to know that when I've worked hard all of my life to have what I have earned... I'm not jumping on the bandwagon to give up MORE of my hard earned dollars to someone else who hasn't or WON'T.

That's ridiculous! I pay a hell of a lot of money in taxes, AND pay for my own private health insurance (well for my family anyways...I'm covered through the military). NOW I'll have to pay for everyone else's insurance and STILL have to pay for my families insurance privately if I want them to have decent coverage. That makes a LOT of sense.

Finally, to say "That's just politics" about him throwing all of those people under the bus... You're right for once! It is "politics". The same "politics" he said his administration wouldn't be doing. He's full of shit, and the American people are starting to see right through it. I'm glad to see those approval ratings soaring.

Now go ahead and dissect every line of my post you uptight asshole! If we ever run short on diamonds in this country we could always take shifts shoving coal up your ass! Maybe they could find a way to power engines with them, and YOU could be the sollution to all of our prayers.

Where were you 7 years ago when President Bush was being thrown under the bus so early?

hmmmm, 7 years ago.... i was working in publishing, getting ready to begin my teacher prep program and grad school. i was not among those throwing w under the bus. i wait until all is said and done before forming my opinion.

Agreed. I supported Bush for years even though I didn't vote for him. Of course, that's the way I've always been. Even if my candidate isn't elected I support them as POTUS. By the end of the third year it was clear to me I couldn't no longer support him and wanted him out. I don't remember any of my Democrat friends not supporting him until deeper into his first term.

The answer, dear Brutus, is that you hate colored folks.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — A black police officer who was at Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s home when the black Harvard scholar was arrested says he fully supports how his white fellow officer handled the situation.

Sgt. Leon Lashley says Gates was probably tired and surprised when Sgt. James Crowley demanded identification from him as officers investigated a report of a burglary. Lashley says Gates' reaction to Crowley was "a little bit stranger than it should have been."

Asked if Gates should have been arrested, Lashley said supported Crowley "100 percent."

I guess Officer Lashley hates black folks too. Damn Uncle Tom.

Funny how you don't hear about Officer Lashley in the news, isn't it?

Not at all.
If Donna's not going to respond to the points I laid out, I am not going to respond to hers.
Especially when she had the intellectual candlepower of a glowstick. You too.

On the Tom Daschle nomination he said "I screwed up."
Cribbing a phrase from Truman he said "The buck stops with me" on the issue of AIG bonuses.
On the topic of the stimulus and if it should it fail he said"A few years from now you'll have a new president."
On the topic of the economy he said "I love these folks who helped get us in this mess and then suddenly say, 'Well, this is Obama's economy.' That's fine. Give it to me."

LOL! Hey, Jim...looks like TNC is rubbing off on you. You criticise him for doing it and then go on to call him a "prick' , an " uptight ass*ole" and tell him to inject things into his body.
