Bouncing or delaying a check is a sticky subject with me. I once worked for an engineering company that started bouncing people's paycheck. It got so bad that on payday at lunch time you could see a line of people walking across the street to the bank where the checks were drawn from. We were cashing out our paychecks for cash before the account ran dry. It sucked having to walk in the parking garage at the end of the day with thousands of dollars in your pocket. The company was strict about your hours and such, but didn't give a shit about paying you on time. After a few paydays of that, we started jumping ship to other engineering firms. Soon after, that company went under.

People gotta pay bills ,if your told your going to be paid on said date and it doesn't happen(and continues to happen)its going to cause a lot of aggravation. No one wants to hear a bunch of excuses when they are owed money for work they completed. Money can really screw up a relationship especially between friends and family.
