That's the part that is just as wrong as the other part, Bobby.
Standing up against hate is one thing... going into people's homes and lives and fishing for it, or taking what happened in your own home in a private moment and using it to honestly try to harm someone in this way is quite another. Had there been no tape, the awful media and the public wouldn't be involved in this or know about it. .
Like I said earlier in this thread, history shows again and again how the purportedly "tolerant" left has quite the vindictive authoritarian streak to them. Everything goes, as long as it fits their worldview. If not, they are not above usurping the very liberties they claim to stand for [not to mention the fact that many of the "liberties" they stand for are not liberties at all, especially as far as an original understanding of the Constitution would have you believe].
That's completely false Matt. It's the rethuglicans who scream and cry about "smaller government" and "states rights" but then they turn around and vote for federal amendments that ban homosexuals from marrying and they try to govern the bodies of women and tell them they can't have an abortion and not to mention the sweeping hypocrisy of special rights that Christians enjoy while they bitch and moan about other groups having "special rights".
This isn't about political parties. In fact, Obama is on record as being against gay marriage. Also, anti-abortion proponents aren't trying to "govern the bodies of women", but rather prevent what they see as the murder innocent babies...
Lastly, what are these special rights the Christians enjoy that other religions don't?
