Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no significant oil in Afghanistan is there?
So going into Darfur to prevent atrocities would be worthwhile though it wouldn't be "dying for you or your freedom".
But going into Afghanistan to kill the members of the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and other radical Muslims who have professed to kill or enslave all infidels (psst.. that's you..I'm assuming) Soldiers dying there aren't "dying for you or your freedom"?

With this line of thinking I can see why you don't think we landed on the moon!

I think I understand the reasoning behind what S2M was saying.
Unfortunately, if you going to proudly wear the badge of resident contrarian, than anything you say is going to be held to the light more than others and crying foul because you are getting hammered on this one subject will just come across as you being a sore loser, or simply a pussy.
The boy who cried wolf comes to mind here. Everyone eventually gets so jaded by the shenanigans that when you do decide to go against the grain for reasons more deeper than your usual exercises in shit stirring, your credibility carries no weight what so ever, regardless whether you can produce the "I served" card or not.
i honestly think you get a kick out of riling people up, and even if it was not what you intended this time, I think you need to simply take your ass-kicking like a man, and realize that in this instance, you were too clever for your own good.

Because, after landing there six times, we came to the realization that all the moon is good for is controlling the tide. No massive quantities of gold or diamonds and no solid proof of life. What's the point of going back?

So how many years has it been now? What about the planned moonbase?

Who's to say that we don't already have a secret moonbase set up to blast those hostile UFOs that are covertly trying to take over the world?

There's no point in having a moonbase until space travel becomes a legitimate technology. Several corporations/investors in the private sector are funding development for those things right now. But we're still a long ways off from that. And having a moon base as far as anything scientific-wise goes, there's not much we can do there that we can't replicate down here and/or get from the use of satellites.

That's right. And what makes you think we had the proper tech to make it all the way to the moon, land, hop around, then lift back off and get all the way back here in the '60s?

Nothing makes me think we did. I've never really been concerned with the moon landing & if it was a hoax. I don't really see the big deal either way. We did or we didn't. And the only constructive thing a civilian can take from the hoax theories is "the government lies" and "the media manipulates us". Which is something that is pretty much common knowledge anyway.

People have to be intentionally dense to be in denial about this. That or they have a need to try to be SMARTER than everyone else no matter how foolish it makes them look.

I really don't see how apathy towards the moon landing hoax theorists warranted being lumped in AS one of them.

He was running his pie hole on Rome is Burning Thursday. I can't believe that Beaner took it to him. Brock better get back to WWE, where he can "win" more often.

Cain beat his ass relentlessly. Brock's face was a bloody mess. Ref had to pull Cain off of him. Lesnar had a 2 inch cut under his left eye. And it was DEEP. Lesnar spent most of the fight trying to turtle up like Claude Lemieux. Embarrassing for such a hulk of a guy.
