Can't wait for Album #2.

That one was hit and miss for me. I like the singer (think he's much better in Leverage) but the songs were just a little on the weak side for my tastes. I would try out #2 as well out of curiousity though

My AOTW comes courtesy of a mention by Penny...I checked out Souljourners - Mind Control and loved it.

Well, I've found my AOTW. Played lots of records today, all were nice but Kamelot - Karma -which is playing now- so gets to me, even though I've already played it to death long ago! First there's the intro, and then the solo with which Forever kicks in, then the drums speed up... there's the Morning Star passage... bliss! 8) And I haven't even arrived at Karma, Across The Highlands or Elizabeth. 8)

My AOTW goes to Hurricane "Take What You Want."[/b] I bought the reissue a couple weeks ago, and the new production sounds great.

In honour of last night's concert it's Wishbone Ash - Argus. I need more records by them... half the songs they played I had no clue what they were. Except that they sounded awesome.

Saw HIM last night and had been listening to Razorblade Romance all week in anticipation. I wasn't disappointed. It was a good show.

Had a listen to this on myspace. Sounds good but it didn't grab me like 11 Dreams did.

With some reluctance... Kamelot - Ghost Opera: The Second Coming. Didn't want to buy a CD I already had, but I did, just for the bonus live CD. Which sounds excellent, by the way.
Strangely, I would feel less ripped off if I had been able to buy it as a single live CD. :?

Is that any good? I loved his singing with Riverdogs, but the solo stuff I have heard seems more acoustic/country/ballad type songs.

Came across Rainbow - Bent Out Of Shape. Great record, it really shouldn't have been collecting dust for so long!

Definitely 'Good to be Bad' by Whitesnake.....better than I could have hoped. I just wish Coverdale would have kept his voice a little 'cleaner' at times....it's a bit like Steve Lukather, you can tell by the phrasing that they're using a deliberately gravelly voice.....but great album!

Noticed yesterday that they picked Lay Down Your Love for the single... the one track I want to skip every time! A more gravelly voice on that one I would have liked very much! It's just one song though, and apart from the not loud enough organ I really don't have a lot to complain. In fact, with each time I play it I find it even more excellent.

OK....now this is fucking weird....my original post has re-appeared. And the replacement one has gone. Go figure....I thiught the single might have been 'All I want, All I need' or 'Best years'.

Probably because of the server switch. At some point there must have been two forums or something :?

All I Want could be another single. I got the US version, but apparently the European version has a radio edit of that song as bonus track. Or maybe it has already been a single before the record was released???
I had guessed Call On Me. Similar song as Lay Down Your Love, but a more exciting chorus.
