You broke down and bought a Favre jesey, didn't you??? It's ok because I'm on board as well. I hope they beat the Saints by 20 because of their garbage fans and that trashy city.

I've always been a Favre fan and was one of the ones in the minority that loved his 'comeback' (if you want to call it that) and Im certainly excited to see him get a shot at snagging another Super Bowl and win one with the team he hated for so many, many years.

Actually, NO, I haven't. I'm still, even at this point having a hard time watching Favre in purple. I, however, HAVE been saying all season long that if he gets us to the Superbowl, I will drank the koolaid. We'll see...I'm ascairted for tomorrow....cautious optimism.

What the fuck? Why?

Vikings - Ok, you like Favre, I understand why people would like him even though I think he's a total piece of shit. I also put myself in the GB fans' shoes and can't imagine what it's like seeing Favre on a hated division rival. Totally unrespectable to me on a grand scale as a sports fan. It'd be like Michael Jordan coming to play for the Cavs after all those years with the Bulls.

Jets - It's a fuckin New York team. People from Ohio don't root for New York ANYTHING.

The Bengals wouldn't have beaten a single playoff team I'm afraid. Carson sucks.

I for one won't be watching the Vikings-Saints game. I still can't watch "he who shall remain nameless" play for GBs most hated rival. IMO New Orleans deserves to win. Those folks from NO have been through hell and deserve something to cheer about. I'll be rooting for the Saints all the way. :D

My picks for todays AFC/NFC Championship games..

Postby Vocalsmanvocals » Sun Jan 24, 2010 11:34 pm

AFC: Indianapolis Colts over NY Jets

Manning is just one of the best QBs out there...one of the best in NFL history...he is the human football chess player. He reminds me of Jim Kelly from the Buffalo Bills in the 90s..calling of his own plays..that is pure talent!!

But the Jets have a lot of confidence. The Jets coach Rex Ryan is the son of Buddy Ryan...who was the defensive coordinator for the 1985 Chicago Bears! The 85 Bears are still considered the best defense in NFL history!!

NFC: Minnesota Vikings over New Orleans Saints

If the Vikings monster defense - Led by defensive coordinator Leslie Fraizer, who played for the 85 Bears, can keep the defense attacking like they did last week...the Vikings will be back to the Superbowl for the first time since the 1970s.

On the other hand, the Saints have never been to the Superbowl..so they have a lot to lose.

Superbowl 44: Vikings vs Colts

Now, you couldn't tell I was a Bears fan in this post right? lol Lots of Bears connections in the games today..

As much as I hate the Packers I always had a grudging respect for him when he was a Packer. So whilst I was perfectly happy to see him in purple I was real skeptical of whether he would do the Vikes any good. Thankfully I ve been 100% wrong. (Though Fran will always be my favorite Viking QB. !)

It's okay to admit it. That time has passed. This is now for ALL the marbles, you can like the man. He was the worst AND best thing to happen to the Vikings his whole career. Funny how one man can hold such a strangle hold on one city. Nevermind what happened, nevermind the former hatred, nevermind the Packers, nevermind his 'retirements, and nevermind bad/good blood. Lets play some football.

This is the main reason I'm rooting for the Vikings. That city fell apart and cannbalized itself. They showed the entire world what a shit city that is ... something I've been saying for years. Fuck New Orleans.

Dude, if anything it's a fuckin lesson about human nature, not about New Orleans. We are, for the most part, a disaster cutting off food, water, power, and fuel away from being savages. That's some real Lord of the Flies/Mad Max shit, but it's fuckin true and you know it.

I'm rooting for New Orleans because Favre showed what a shit person he is. Fuck Favre!

They didn't do that shit in Mississippi and parts of Mississippi were totally devastated by Katrina. They bonded together and everyone helped each other. The people of New Orleans weren't trying to survive ... they were being opportunists.

I had no doubts in Manning being Manning, figuring out the Jets, and taking it to them to route them, just like they've had all season. The Colts are a well oiled machine and are built to come back from deficits. Now it's time for Favre to take care of business. Either way, it's going to be a helluva Super Bowl.

I like either NFC team to win it this year. Both Minny/N.O can beat the Colts.

I think it's gonna be one hell of a Super Bowl regardless of who wins tonight. Exciting opening drives so far.

How can't you LOVE Brett fucking Favre? The man's a straight up warrior. I swear he's made of rubber. 40 years old, taking a beating and STILL delivering. Awesome.

Given that their offense is raping the Vikings even quicker than their offense is raping the Saints' D, I don't see why that would be their "only hope."

Adrian Peterson is worthless and is the most over hyped running back during his tenure in the NFL. Yes, he's showed glimpses of greatness in huge spurts during the coarse of his young career, but if he wants to be taken serious, then he needs to go back to running backs 101 and MAKE A FUCKING POCKET WITH HIS GOD DAMN ARMS! Could be the play of the game, just like the play of the Jets/Colts game was Ryan's BONEHEAD call to send Jay Feeley on the field for a 54 yard FG after missing a 44 earlier in the game that gave Manning the ball with field position that teams dread.
