Intentional grounding in the pocket, no receiver in the area of play. Brady threw it within his own endzone. Safety. Giants ball.

This eerily feels like the Steelers slow start in 45 (pick 6 late in the 1st QRT) for N.E (Safety, 12-men.)

That 3rd and 1 holding was a huge call in the first half. The Giants could be well on their way if they would have potentially scored on that drive. They were moving the ball well. Now Brady goes 96 yards before half. Huge momentum shift.

That was a painful ending to the first half. But there's still time for the Giants to catch up, so I won't give up hope yet.

On their way? NY is lucky for that 12 men on the field, or this would be AT LEAST 10-3 for NE.

Before that last drive, the Giants were destroying in T.O.P. And yes, they were on their way regardless of the 12 men because if I'm not mistaken, the Giants were caught with a 12 men in the huddle as well. Giants penalties thwarted potential scoring drives. If a Giants fan would bring out the moans, then I'd day New England got away with a blatant pass-interference call earlier in the game.

Are you serious? Moore didn't touch him. his arm went BETWEEN the WR's arm...and NE's 12 men OTF negated a FUMBLE....

If grabbing him around his waist and turning him in his route isn't "touching him" then you're right.

NY is lucky they've recovered 2 of their own fumbles, and had a penalty negate the third....

Wow, what a grab. Another HUGE catch in this re-match. Awesome game. I'm happy it's a superb Super Bowl. Both teams deserve the title. That Welker drop could come back to haunt. What a game and more than likely a crazy finish.

Their more than likely going to milk the clock for what it's worth right here. Eager to see how Bellichick use's his timeouts here if the Giants pick up another first down within the red-zone. It all comes down to coaching from here on out.

Unfortunately, Wes' dropped pass cost the Patriots this one. This doesn't hurt as badly as 2007, but still sucks!

Are you serious? Brady, the most clutch QB is likely to get the ball back. LOTS of time.

What a dumbass! Brashaw's momentum carries him in the endzone. Brady is going to fuckin' pull this off.

Giants are the luckiest team in NFL history.....lucky Gronk wasn't healthy. Fuck Eli...he had ONE lucky throw.

Of course. Because the Patriots have never lost fair and square.

2 counting XLII

GREAT game. Another INSTANT classic. I think Eli just punched his ticket to the H.O.F. What a finish, great way to close out the NFL season with a Super Bowl like that. Can't wait for 2012 season opener!

Who said it wasn't fair and square. I said LUCKY. Gronk plays the whole game - NE wins going away.

Clutch or not, there simply wasn't enough time. Brady didn't play perfectly, but he had zero help. Way too many dropped passes. Just can't have that in such a huge game. The bottom line is that if Welker catches that pass (and it was right in his hands), that game was over and the Patriots win it. Such is life. I still can't believe that this Patriots team even made it to The Super Bowl.

Nice sportsmanship...

The game is 60 minutes long, 11 players on each side - Giants were the better TEAM today...
