Yo dickweed. Do you know that some 95% of all medical and new drug research is done here in the US? And that the Canadian government forces the manufacturer to sell to them at a certain price, usually at a loss, so they make it up by higher prices here.

So WE are paying for the cheaper drugs in Canada via higher prices.

If they regulated drug costs here in the US they way they do in other countries that would mean the end to that research.

Were you in a hospital or urgent care? Did you read everything you signed and did one of those forms happen to be a form to waive your right to a medical screening exam? In an urgent care setting they can offer a waiver of medical screening exam so that every person that presents to be seen with a sore throat doesn't have to be rushed back-they give the patient the opportunity to declare that they do not feel that their condition is life threatening. I suppose I would need to know much more about your particular case in order to tell you if they violated EMTALA or not.....
