Well the Canadian girls seem to know how to celebrate. It seems they are in a bit of trouble this morning!

Don't know how to take this. I love that team, and am glad they won gold, but the cigars and beers at centre ice on International TV? Oh man, I can just picture Iraqi women wrapped up in burkas watching the Canadian women smoke cubans and down Molson's. Two different world's.

They "incident" is now under investigation. They wouldve broadcasted the party from the locker rooms anyways so what's the difference. Let them enjoy it on the ice.

Exactly, who cares! But I'm sure it has to do with the conservative "other" nations as Dean said. They don't want to set a precident for it. Imagine if they said it was okay. And it caught on. Imagine if the women's figure skaters all went wild    I hope the media attention ends up being a positive, and not a negative though.

It's kind of tacky don't you think? The team could have gone out to Robson Street and hit all the bars and had free drinks all night and partied with their fans and fellow countrymen. That's just my opinion.

The only investigation that is worhy is a couple of Canuck girls were just that- girls, as in under aged drinkers. he drinking age is 19 in BC and there were a couple who were 18. OOPS. What are they going to do, drug test Canada and strip their gold medals? he USA wouldn't want them anyway. They would want to earn it.

USA will get crushed by Canada. You and I both know it. The Canadians will run it all night long too. It's going to be one long party in Gastown.
