'Journyman' has to be the worst Maiden song ever
Nah, that vote goes to Holy Smoke...along with the video clip, which is one of the most amateurish ever produced

However, song of the week is The Battle Rages On by Deep Purple. Killer guitar riff on that song! Didn't even know this song until last week...

AOTW for me is Ayreon - Universal Migrator Part 2. Thanks Tali, this is not bad at all.
It has the best packaging of any cd i have ever owned....comes in like a hardback novel sort of a case with 2 cds and a dvd....excellent artwork, lyrics,

Jonny, Once came out in Finland yesterday, sold Gold within a couple of hours. When is it being released in the states?

Standout performances by Devin Townsend, a guy named Magnus Ekwall (from a band named The Quill) and this Mexican chick who's name is Marcela Bovia....and Irene Jansen is better than her sister.
The rest kick ass too except for a guy named Eric Clayton(Saviour Machine).....and LaBrie still irks me....but not as much as usual.
Its probably one of the best concept albums ever....it might even be better than The Wall
Give it ten years and then make a comparison Tali - you are verging on blasphemy there!!
Fuck that does sound serious.....fantastic when a piece of music can do that to you mate.Taliwakker wrote:Kenny wroteGive it ten years and then make a comparison Tali - you are verging on blasphemy there!!
I understand the enormity of my statement.....but its a fucking sensational piece of art/music that just keeps getting better with each listen. I just took 2 hours off work just to drive around and listen to it in from beginning to end again.

I read in an interview that the original plan was actually to have Dio do the vocals, but he didn't have the time, so John West did them instead. Dougie White (if available) would have been an even better choice IMO.
Outstanding track is the title track, it's epic!
