I've been on a bit of a kd Lang trip lately. Crying is one of my favorites.

This is a beautiful song Vladan! I'm not familiar with John Farnham, but I'll have to check out more of his music. Thanks :)

Cool, glad you enjoyed that one. Yeah that's a nice rendition there, it's always refreshing to hear John do duets with nice female vocalist as well, she has a very sweet voice, and I think improves the song.

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

"Change for the Better" by some '80s band.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Jimi Jamison's "As Is". I'm really digging this album right now! Not every song is a hit, and I skip a couple of the album fillers. Anyways, here it is...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehOb9pkmXBs

Also really like this song from the album. "Can't Look Away". Here you go.

Well Mr. Big is my favorite. But I did hear the original for the first time in that Life On Mars show on ABC (GREAT show. Sucks it's going off on April 1st). Both are great, but Mr. Big has the lead for me.

I don't care for a lot of Techno because much of it's too repetitive of a one note beat and is done by a computer and not musicians but I like that Elvis remix.

My favorite song lately is this one:

Three Doors Down - It's Not My Time

It definitely has an 80's rocker feel to it.

Doesn't sound as much like Kansas as Survivor to me but either way, what a great song. I've never heard it before and its 22 years old!

So for today anyway, my new favorite song.

All I Wanted - Kansas

This is my favorite song by Kansas, and one of my all-time favorite songs:

Kansas - Fight Fire With Fire

The beat and the energy of the song are addicting.

This band are definitely making me feel less old and bitter about the lack of good music nowadays. This is off their recent Hundred Million Suns album...which is great pretty much all the way through.

That really is a great underrated track.

Oddly, its intro made me think its was gonna be a lame track like some of Starship's or REO's lesser efforts but as it continues it turns out to be a great song along of the lines of YES from the 90125 album.

I found it after the "All I Wanted" track and was very impressed with it.

The video though is pure 80s crap. Worse than Separate Ways.

One of my favorites for sure. Rocks like crazy.

The origiinal vid's been silenced by wmg but I found a gv clip. Think it uses the album cut since the vid/voice is off.
