That might help, LOL! But in my experience, bands like this doing club gigs really appreciate the support and usually hang out after the show and sign autographs. Sometimes it depends on the turnout. When I met George after the Dokken show here several years ago, he was out by the tour bus while the other guys hung out backstage or inside the venue. You might also ask the Meridian if you could come to soundcheck, or just kinda show up and be there when they do it. I don't know that venue of course, and every place is different (layout, capacity, type of crowd). Just gut feeling, I'd think you have a good 90% chance of meeting him at least long enough to get a pic if you want to. They do have a decent website though, and I just confirmed the date!

Oh, Yea! Let's do it! My sis is in too; she's lots of fun. Tickets are only 15 bucks. Meridian is a serious dive, but who cares?

La Meechee!!!! You two are going to have a blast! No way you can't meet George after the show, so I expect LOTS of pictures and stories, por favor!

Fu, I found the dates here -- may want to bookmark this site: http://georgelynch.ning.com

Interesting that he uses the same hosting company as AP's first site did. For a while I thought NING was actually based in the Philippines, but I guess that wasn't the case.

Any ideas on HOW to manage to meet George after the show. Well other than asking Lami to wear a cleavage shirt? 8)

The most interesting thing about this is that, according to a recent Blabbermouth article, Don Dokken said the band was supposed to be STYX. Apparently they pulled out, and Dokken jumped in at the last minute.

Maybe kill the chicken with rants about their former singer/keyboardist, and how much they don't need him!

Chilling at the hotel after the show in Pensacola last night. After a very bad experience with the venue in Indianapolis, THAT was the way to cap off the year for me. Front row, smack dab in front of Neal, and lots of AP. :)

GEORGE LYNCH Interviewed On METAL RULES! RADIO; Audio Available - Sep. 26, 2009

Legendary guitarist George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB, SOULS OF WE) was interviewed for episode 20 of Metal Rules! Radio. The entire podcast can now be streamed using the audio player below.

In a recent interview with Kevin "Taz" Conklin of "The Big Dumb Radio Show" (web site), which airs on Kalamazoo, Michigan's 92.5 WZUU FMradio station, Lynch was asked about a possible LYNCH MOB tour in support of the band's comeback studio album, entitled "Smoke And Mirrors". "I'm talking a little preemptively here, but one of the things on the table is a potential DOKKEN-LYNCH MOB tour — kind of like thatWWF spectacle where you come out with all that history and get people talking, and that's always good," George said. "And we'll play someDOKKEN songs as well in our set. And they're welcome to play someLYNCH MOB songs, but that's not gonna happen... I'm kidding."

Regarding whether he would make an appearance on stage with his formerDOKKEN bandmates if LYNCH MOB were to tour with DOKKEN, Lynchsaid, "Absolutely. That's be part of the deal. I'd come out at the end and we'd have a little reunion, and it'd be awesome. Me and Don [Dokken] could come out, make out for a while, and then we'd dive into a couple of old DOKKEN songs for old times' sake."

Audio samples of all 13 songs that appear on "Smoke And Mirrors" are available for download at HeavyHarmonies.com (scroll down). The CD was released in Europe on September 18 (October 13 in the U.S.) viaFrontiers Records.

LYNCH MOB's current lineup includes Logan and Lynch alongside bassistMarco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY) and drummer Scot Coogan (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ACE FREHLEY).
