You rock, Deb! (About 15 minutes before the start of the draft there will be a link at the top of the home page which will allow you access to the draft room. The players will be ranked in yahoo draft order, so if you want to use their ranking system it's right there in front of you. When it's your turn, just click on the "draft player" button next to their name. It's that easy. We do this until all of our rosters have been filled. The draft order is random and assigned by yahoo, so I won't even know from what position each of us picks from until I enter the draft room, so prepare to draft first or last! Treetop and Mr. Treetop are helping me learn the game while at them - GO (not long ago and again very soon Stanley Cup winning) DUCKS!! - , and Dean has given me pointers by way of telling me to sing "Oh Canada" loudly while at the games, but that's about where my hockey expertise is at. Me either, don't have the faintest clue! I love hockey too. And you know how much I care about stats in music, well it's the same for hockey. I'm going to lose, and that's ok........I'm just going to play it for fun, pick some favorites, talk some smack and chock it up to a learning experience this go around. Don't know anything outside of my little Flames world, so if I can get Iggy and Connie I'll be happy and eeny meeny miney mo the rest. LOL hey I've heard of him, ok I'll pick him type of thing.

I think the only time you would have to be online at a certain time is for the draft when you pick your players, which is sunday. I've never done this before either, so no idea how it works. So pray for me, Wendy.

Draft is at 8:15 pm (eastern time) tommorrow (Sunday). You can prerank players (or use the yahoo default system if you're not there). Some are making this sound complicated, but it's not at all.

I don't mind watching hockey. I just don't understand the rules of the game enough to join you guys & gals. I DO remember when Clint Malarchuk & Richard Zednick both got their throats cut on the ice & I thought to myself “This is WAY too rough for me.” Football’s more my thing & yes, I know it’s dangerous too, but I’d take a broken leg over a slit throat any day. Hockey: Fun to watch, but I'd be lying if I said I understood all it entails.
