Funny how a movie like that scared the crap out of me back then kind of made me laugh now. Good movie though!
No, they weren't 15 - they were about high-school senior age.
I first saw that movie at a sleepover in
THIRD grade.

No joke.
Clearly, our parents paid NO attention to our viewing choices.

They said in the movie the blonde was 15! One of them said her age and I was shocked by that really! It only made an impression because my son was with me
3rd grade?? I never would have slept again!! I saw it in the 11th grade and couldnt' sleep for at least a week!! I can't imagine seeing it that young! I told my son no R movies at this age unless I approve, but of course he has been caught sneaking really bad ones already. He's almost 16 though. I guess it's time to let go a little

Ok, I guess I'm wrong about the 15 thing... (I know all the lines, too - how'd that one get by me?

)
But yeah, 3rd grade... I don't know why, but it never bugged me. I saw all the sequels immediately on release too and my mom never cared, and my dad probably never even knew I was watching those movies. But when I was in 6th grade, they both had a heart attack when I rented
Stand By Me because it had ... gasp! ... BAD WORDS!
