Heres a challenge to you... get your ass in here and POST! I lurked in here for probably a year or so before I posted. This is the first and really the only forum I've posted in (with the exception of a few posts at WTF forum).

Don't be shy... just jump in with both feet! This place is a lot of fun but we need new people in here with some new topics to discuss!!! Your move.

I lurked for awhile too, but in my defense, that was over 3 years ago - back then I was too afraid too post for fear of being eaten alive. I think it's a little less intimidating now (and this is not a bad thing, contrary to some of the "it's not the same anymore" whining that pops up from time to time )

I still lurk mostly. I still have that fear of being eaten alive. I'm not a confrontational person so I just lay low here. Plus I don't know a whole lot of people here so even if I do post, I don't get alot of responses.

I lurked for a few months. Didn't really join in as much until meeting others from here, and now have met many, and MOST of them are truly, sincerely awesome people, lol. Some of the assholes online are teddy bears in person ... and then some who seem so nice online can turn out to be not-so-nice at all BUT thankfully those are VERY, VERY few. I'm leery of the super-duper-nice or super-sticky-sweet online personas now, but that's a good thing.

This place can be a bit clique-ish too, just like high school , and that might keep some lurkers away, lol. I definitely read more than I say anything. Trying to stick to just music talk anymore, because talking about anything else can inadvertently earn you a verbal ass-beating on here, whether you deserve it or not, lol. And it's fun to watch the smackdowns in the political threads (my views are usually the same as Dan's and Stu's, etc. anyway, and they express them WAY better! ), and it's also fun to watch the territorial men on here get all fluffy-feathered with each other , so fricken funny!
