2009 - what a crappy year. :(

I'm sorry for your loss.

Here's hoping you get a BETTER job!! an opportunity perhaps for great things to come which would be impossible if you were stuck in the same place. maybe?? chin up.

Money is still tight, and I have to drive an hour and fifteen minutes to my job every day. For those who have had nothing but misfortune this year, I will pray for things to soon look up for you, and those you love. I wish only great things for all of you next year. :D

I am in my first year of teaching (public school-I've been teaching privately for 20+ years) as well and drive 79 miles one way. But, I was fortunate to get a teaching job at all in the middle of February! I love those kids so it makes it better. my 1st chair trumpet player in 8th grade is named Jurnee. no schutt. she's a hoot. belches and breaks wind like a drunken sailor. very entertaining. sometimes all of the band seated close to her just stand up and run away screaming. I laugh all day. dokk is teaching me to handle the grownups so I'm gettin the hang of it.

I was blessed with a new son in law and 3 new grandchildren. and my #3 daughter just told me last night that she is expecting. so that is grandbaby #10!!!!

I heard Mr. Awesome sing Kiss Me Softly LIVE!! I had waited FOREVER for that.

How could I possibly complain. I don't know what 2010 will hold but I am looking forward to the journey.

2009 started out well, but after the end of March it went downhill fast! I'm moving in 28 days and looking forward to a lot of changes and challenges. I like that 2010 is the start of a new decade and new era - good luck to everyone and I hope we all have a great year and the beginning of a fantastic decade of prosperity, health and happiness!

Careerwise it’s been fine, but a lot of other stuff happened along the way. I ended one relationship. :( Started a new relationship. :D Moved. :D Made friends. :D Made enemy....that’s singular (at least I think). :( Gained 10 pounds. :( Got engaged. :D Made peace with my dad. :D Had a lot of ear infection problems... :( what was up with that?

All-in-all it was an okay year for me but still I'm looking towards the future. :P

Congratulations on your engagement and making peace with your dad! That's really nice to hear and I'm happy for you. As for the 10 pounds, I gained 6 eating my mom's Christmas baking just over the last two weeks, but quite frankly it was worth it!

Going from the Third Street Promenade to The Turlock WalMart has got be a bit of Culture shock. Financially though, Your expenses are probably going to be cut in half, which is the big thing I guess.

the promenade i can do without. it's the climate i'm going to miss terribly. i love being by the ocean and if i could afford it, we'd stay. luckily san francisco is not too far away so i can get my feel and wyatt will have some fun making aunt cyndy and nana lora crazy.

Sucked is a strong word. Did parts of it suck? Yes for sure! There are parts I'd like to erase! Was it the best year ever? Definitely not. But I've had way worse. I am happy to be in 2010 and not look back though. New beginnings looking foward :)
