Money is still tight, and I have to drive an hour and fifteen minutes to my job every day. And that is one way!

But with the present economy, and with so many needing work, I can only be grateful for these blessings. Maybe next year will be even brighter.
For those who have had nothing but misfortune this year, I will pray for things to soon look up for you, and those you love. I wish only great things for all of you next year.

I am in my first year of teaching (public school-I've been teaching privately for 20+ years) as well and drive 79 miles one way. But, I was fortunate to get a teaching job at all in the middle of February! I love those kids so it makes it better. my 1st chair trumpet player in 8th grade is named Jurnee. no schutt. she's a hoot. belches and breaks wind like a drunken sailor. very entertaining. sometimes all of the band seated close to her just stand up and run away screaming. I laugh all day. dokk is teaching me to handle the grownups so I'm gettin the hang of it.
I was blessed with a new son in law and 3 new grandchildren. and my #3 daughter just told me last night that she is expecting. so that is grandbaby #10!!!!
I heard Mr. Awesome sing Kiss Me Softly LIVE!! I had waited FOREVER for that.
How could I possibly complain. I don't know what 2010 will hold but I am looking forward to the journey.
