Arrrggg, friggin' $800 for airfare. LOL, are you going to have a spare pair of contacts and clothes? Kind of leary, since something has happened to my luggage both times I've flown to eastern US.....last time (for the show in my sig) it didn't arrive until the night after the show..........and now cuz of that idiot at Christmas, you can't bring anything in your carry on coming across the border except baby/child paraphanelia. So I would be screwed.

There are some decent ones nearby. There's a Holiday Inn, a Hampton Inn, (they're not next door to the venue or anything, but not far at all)... I thought I saw Hilton Garden Inn listed... there is a Comfort Suites.... some relatively decent choices.

I don't know what, if anything, Andrew has done about reserving a group rate at a certain hotel, or whatever. Maybe see what he has dug up before you send me out looking. LOL... Personally, I'm trying to score my employee rate for myself, but I don't know yet.

HOTELS - A list of hotels to select from will be announced in the next 48hrs. There will be a dedicated MRF Hotel near the venue that will be offering travelling fans a special discount rate, plus a few other hotel/choices to select from - all with specific MRF rates,so hang on for required booking reference numbers.

1. This website is owned and run by Andrew McNeice, and MRF2 is Andrew's second go at organising a gig. The first being a couple of years ago.
2. As i said, this is Andrew's 2nd gig, and each has been in the US, in the vicinity of Chicago in both cases. Fans come from all over the world to it.
3. All are Melodic rock bands, some established (Y&T approaching 30 years,) some new - Youtube is a good place to start.
4. Other members of WET are Erik from Eclipse, (also playing at MRF2) and Robert from Work of Art.

Check the review section of this site for newer releases and Youtube for everything else.

This will be some event...stop thinkin gig....start thinkin party.
