OK, here's a question, Van Halen w/ Sammy or Journey w/Perry. In the present, which would you rather see live?

I'm going to select Journey w/Perry because he's my fav!! The vox might not be what they used to be, but they'll
still be better than 99.999% of what we've got out there today. I hope it's not so because I love EVH, but there's a good chance
he'll miss the show!!

I would pick Van Halen, mainly because Ive never seen them with Sammy, and they only do half of the catalog W/DLR.

I'll say Van Halen with Sammy also. I've seen Journey with Perry a few times and Diamond Dave on the Diver Down Tour ( The first time I ever saw a grown woman take a piss inside a pothole in the Spectrum parking lot  ). I've only seen Sammy as a solo act.

That used to be The Glen Helen Pavilion, where they do OZ fest. Back in the day, they used that area for the 83 US festival.

I remember that in 83, didn't get to go. My daughter got me a ticket to the OZ fest a few years ago and I was seriously going to go until they started telling me about the wall of death or something like that, where you separate everyone into like two groups at a distance and then take off and run into each other, breaking bones and what not. Needless to say I declined.
