You can add my name also, when you send it. I'll do the same. That way we'll be sure to sit together - the tables hold 10.
I'm gonna try to send it soon too. I think Rhi may be going, but I won't speak for her. We discussed it briefly.

Ok! And I had messaged Rhi after our trip, and told her we were considering it, and she seemed like she might go! Im sure she'll let us know

I'm gonna try to get a family link for the hotel - I used to work for a Hilton property so I'm going to email over to my old office and try to get the link. If I can do it, I'll send you the info. No promises yet because I don't know if I can swing it but I'm trying. Maybe you and Mel can ride down with us so you won't have to rent a car? It's a little over an hour away.

Darn, Melissa booked the hotel yesterday and it was a "non-refundable" rate so we could save a little money that way. So I don't think we could use your rate now if you got it. :x And we're planning to fly in a couple days earlier, so we will probably have to rent a car anyway. But that is sweet of you! Thanks :) I haven't looked to see where it is in relation to Midway yet! Its all been a whirl wind decision for me!! I didn't want to spend the money....but then somehow it being the weekend right before my bday I decided what the hell!!

Midway is much closer to Kankakee than O'Hare is.

Well, non-refundable means you got the "advance purchase rate" which would be roughly the same as a family rate, maybe only $5 more... so you're good. I may even do that myself actually. I've emailed Rhi about this too, so we can try and get our plans made.

Would be hard to top last year's. Absolutely loved your dress last year, those colors are gorgeous and totally suit us dark haired gals.......I'd so steal it from you if you lived closer.

Awww...thanks! :D I do love that dress too.

As for no SA this year, well, it was amazingly generous of him to do it two years in a row; didn't figure he'd be a fixture every single year. JTTC is about the great cause, the great people who run it, and the great time to be had hanging out with all the cool people who show in their fancy threads to eat, drink, and rock. No doubt it will be a fabulous time one again; can't wait.

I'm looking forward to it. I hope his solo CD is kind of like the vibe of Kiss Me Softly. It really suits his voice and delivery of songs.

LOL -- not a mayhem type of event, but if it does, well... it's all for a good cause!
