I would have to agree. The only singer I have pulled out consistently over the years. My sister didn't like SOL when I pulled it out on a long car trip. She popped in Seeds of Love, listened, and said, forget it, I don't like it. I said, wait until later. Played it much later on a dark interstate, very quiet, great sound system, and she was blown away by it. The huge-sounding instrumentals in the songs and the great sound production really are served well on such a long stretch of driving at night. One of my favorites off Seeds of Love:

Standing on the Corner of the Third World - http://www.youtube.com/v/QP11EuHh7vs&hl=en

Swords and Knives - http://www.youtube.com/v/Q3N-fFV-f3Q&hl=en

But I still never connected to those type songs the way I did to SFTBC, like Shout (that songs builds and great guitar solo, great vocals) and Everybody Wants To Rule the World and The Working Hour and Listen (such a beautiful almost completely instrumental song).

I am really interesting in hearing how his voice will hold up. This is where Perry excelled and other 80's singers as well. Will Adam suffer vocal problems hitting notes, maybe a cutback or lower key during notes in songs.

Reminds me of back in 85'/86' when I was first in Japan. There were so many Japanese chicks who were nuts for Culture Club/Boy George. Even I knew a Japanese girl personally who would wear similar clothing styles to that of Boy George and that band. So it appears history is repeating itself in Japan to some degree with foreign music and musicians influence.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
