Thanks for derailing my thread.

To finish it, McGwire was #6, TO was #7, Arod was #8, Iverson the thug in at #9 and good ol I'll bring my semi automatic weapon to work Gilbert Arenas at #10.

As for heros, how can Wayne Gretzky not be on everyone's list?

What about Barry?!?!

Why Gasol MG?????

:?:

Mentioning him was a joke ...he is just the most recent flopper in my mind, can't stand such obvious, deliberate floppers!!
I also recall a definite charge in the 4th/4 that went uncalled ...I didn't see the whole game, but the 4th "Q" was handed
to L.A. on a silver plater ...here you go, take another ring, if you like!!!

AI and his mom!!! ...he gave DETROIT and the game of BB a BAD Name!!

Oh c'mon now MG. The Lakers won "fair and square". Calls were botched on BOTH ENDS, btw. The Lakers "out-willed" the Celts this time. I know it hurts but, the better team won. It was close but, L.A. deserved it. Gasol was a "force" most of the series. One of the most SKILLED big'men out there...did you see his footwork and shotmaking skills for most of the series???? He's definitely a very very good player!

You Wolverines...tsk tsk tsk.

Oh please w/the Wolverine nonsense ... As I stated I did not see the entire game, the last "Q" was yukky!!
I'm not a complainer/whiner in the world of sports, I'm a GOOD sport!! I never said LA didn't deserve to win ...
I said Gasol is a flopper and a charger, but he isn't the only one!! :D

Easy. The guy was never hit. He had the run of the rink....he would have folded like a cheap suit if he played today....dude was a sissy, with mad scoring skills.

How is Sid the Kid any different. You know, every player can't be Gordie Howe or Alex Ovechkin and score and beat the shit out of players. My point was Gretz was also beloved and was probably the greatest ambassador known to sport. He is responsible for franchises going up in Anaheim, Dallas, Phoenix, Nashville, Atlanta, Florida and Tampa Bay. He made hockey a truly nationwide sport.

Lets see...where to begin! In addition to winning 2 college football National Championships he was the first sophomore to win the Heisman...broke the rushing record all time in the SEC, held since Herschel Walker, and is one hell of a role model for EVERYONE, you included Deano.
