Your setlist was probably something close to this:

Barracuda
Never
Kick It Out
Straight On
Mistral Wind Intro
Mistral Wind
Back To Avalon
These Dreams
Sifronia's Mark
Red Velvet Car
WTF
What About Love
Alone
Love Reign O'er Me
Crazy On You
Going To California
Magic Man

Ok....re-reading your post it seems you were talking about A Boy Named Goo.....

Hope that's not the case with HOBs not on Disney property?!  I finally get to see my re-united MB.....just them on the bill, smaller venue, new and old material, DOES it get any better, NOT! Damn near piddle my pants with excitement at the thought of finally hearing some of those killer favorite MB songs LIVE! :D LOL going to try to hold it together if they play TakeCover or Tempermental, but all bets are off if they play some of the deeper cuts like Merciless, Voodoo Kiss or My Kinda Woman.

I'd like to see Heart get even more rockier on their setlist if they are going to tour with Def Leppard this summer.

They have, however, covered MANY songs on theirs albums:

Alone(Bad Animals) - is an i-Ten song

I Want your World to Turn(Brigade) - Is a Cruzados song

I've Got the Music in Me(The Very Best of) - is a Kiki Dee tune

Love Hurts(The Road Home) - is an Everly Brothers song

Mona Lisas and Mad hatters(Alive in Seattle) - is an Elton John tune

Ring Them Bells(Desire Walks On) - is a Bob Dylan song

River(The Road Home) - is a Joni Mitchell song

Seasons(The Road Home) - is another Elton John tune

Tell it Like it is(The Road Home) - is an Aaron Neville song

Wait for An Answer(Bad Animals) - is a Dalbello song

What About Love(Heart) - is a Toronto song

Wild Child(Brigade) - is a Romeo's Daughter song

Without You(Ballads:Greatest Hits) - is a Badfinger song

The Woman in Me(Ballads) - is a Donna Summer Song

You're the Voice(The Essential Heart) - is a John Farnham song

It was co-written by two of the Toronto members with songwriter Jim Vallance, who has worked with everyone under the sun, including Mr. Big ("Never Say Never" from "Lean Into It.")

You can hear the original here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lua9OrloDkg

And read Jim's account of the song here:
http://www.jimvallance.com/01-music-fol ... about.html

"What About Love" is a tremendous song. But I personally find the difference between the two versions is striking. No offense to Toronto, but I think the original version falls flat. The song took on a whole new life with Ann Wilson singing it.

First off, Journey and Van Halen would never be on the same bill because they're both headliners. So let's extinguish any thoughts of them touring together. By all accounts, Heart is going to tour with/open for Def Leppard this summer and Triumph is going to open for Van Halen. That leaves Mr. Big, Foreigner and/or Europe to open for Journey.

Seriously. That's the hot rumor. They were going to tour as a stand alone last year, but the economy tanked and that is probably going to force them to open. Opening for VH might help them tour alone the following year.

First off, have you forgotten that Journey already HAS toured with Van Halen? LOL, VH mopped the floor with them when Journey actually headlined. That's not a band you want to go on after.

Also, you say Journey would never tour with VH because they are both headliners? What do you call Journey/Def Lippard? Journey opened for them and I hate to tell you this, but VH smokes Def Lippard. If Journey were to tour with VH(and they never will because of the bad blood), Journey would definitely open.

Lastly, didn't Andrew just a week or so ago say there was nothing going on at the VH camp, nothing at all, no album, no tour?

Dan wrote:By all accounts, Heart is going to tour with/open for Def Leppard this summer and Triumph is going to open for Van Halen. That leaves Mr. Big, Foreigner and/or Europe to open for Journey.

Dude, VH is NOT touring this year or anytime in the forseeable future, per Andrew. You also will never see Europe and Journey together, never.

I will say one thing, S2M is smoking crack by saying he thinks Journey should play first and get off the stage quickly. Come on dude, they are talented to be sure. Assholes, yes, but they are not going on first with Heart and Foreigner.

Journey is a draw because the plokkers outnumber the american fans now...the females want to hear Stone in Love because that's the song they lost their virginity to in 1981, in the back seat of that Mercury Monarch to some dumb jock, who immediately after - hung her panties from his rearview mirror.

And the guys just go cause they know there are easy chicks attending(old beat-up hags now, but nevertheless)....

Now THERE would be a triple bill.....MB/Triumph/Van Halen! Hell, I'd travel damn near anywhere to see MB and Triumph on the same bill! Now that would be a ballsout ROCK fest that would smoke the likes of Styx/Foreigner/Journey. Damn!!

That was before all of the hits and, more specifically, before Jon Cain. Besides:

As the opening act for Journey and Montrose, Van Halen was afforded few luxuries. The Aragon was a small theater with an extremely tiny backstage area. Once the other bands had loaded their equipment inside, there was no room for anything else, much less VH's gear. Van Halen's completely inexperienced road crew had to load all their gear through the main entrance, walking each item through the venue and over the stage. The half-hour show they performed was easily the worst set of the entire tour, mostly due to logistical problems. Plus, the entire band was wearing three inch clogs, making even the easiest stage moves nearly impossible. Taking cues from rock gods KISS, the band began their tour wearing three inch platform shoes, costing up to $300 a pair. As much as they loved the shoes, it was impossible to walk, so they were quickly scrapped. Dave began wearing Capezio shoes while the rest of the band wore sneakers.

The Aragon's stage was far too small for the movement they were used to, and it showed. After it was all said and done, the lighting director's headset malfunctioned for the entire show, and the band left the headlights on in the equipment truck, which resulted in a dead battery by the time they finished the load-out. As first tours go, this wasn't the ideal way to start.

Rockindeano wrote:Lastly, didn't Andrew just a week or so ago say there was nothing going on at the VH camp, nothing at all, no album, no tour?

Azoff's camp has been fucking with Andrew for several years now. From an outsider's view, it's really quite comical.

I also remember him telling us that his "source" was saying that the tour in 2008 "was over" when they canceled a few gigs. See my reply above this one.

Not true :P Cleveland was not about sold out and full of "plokkers". The lawn was PACKED. say what you want, cause you can :P but no way! Journey STILL draws a large crowd! And now with things such as "Glee" bringing it to the younger generation even more, they will STILL sell their tickets.
