Hahaha, man Jim, you got a LOT of great, irrelevant stories! What else you got, champ?

I have mentioned no names, just like your other innocent thread mentioned no names. You chose to bring yourself into this. You started that thread and threatened to expose personal/legal problems that someone else has been going through, even though he had nothing to do with you or our argument today. The only thing that I've discussed with that other person was having him verify how much percentage you took off the top of the band's earnings. He had nothing to do with it otherwise, yet you threaten him through nasty text messages today, and threaten to expose his personal issues? And it wasn't "passive aggressive" just like you've said in your thread. It was just saying what needed to be said for that person. You are the only person who's brought personal stuff into this.

You didn't answer my question, Jim, DO YOU WANT TO BRING MY CHILDREN INTO THIS?

Simple question?

Nope, and the only person who has brought you into this is you. I wouldn't bring families or personal stuff into this. You're the one who seems intent on doing it yourself.

Symantics Jim. You said/He said...and you can't prove anything...you are putting innuendo out and REALLY coming close to straying into that slander/libel area.

Seriously. Go look it up, what the legal test for it is...you maybe aren't over the line, but you are really walking the edge.

You should stop too...because this isn't the place for it. You know it too.

I'm just trying to get him to stop threatening a friend of mine who had nothing to do with this. He's sent him threatening texts to him today saying his was going to post his personal/legal issues all over Melodic Rock, when the guy had nothing to do with argument today. If he was your friend, I don't think you'd like it either. And I don't bring his family into this. He's the one who chose to get them involved.

Tell you what Jeremey, you stop with your other thread, and I'll stop this right now. That's the only reason I started this, because I don't want you to try to drag an innocent person through the mud.

I wouldn't like it, but this isn't the venue for it, your friend should have taken it to a lawyer. That is the proper venue.

I agree. Let the dukes fly here, among your online family in privacy and complete confidence. For my part at least, I'm not telling a soul.

Now Jim, I love ya bro, but you need to stop tempting the wrath of the gods before you get smitethed. Some food for thought... If the "m" in Jeremey's name had one less hump, it would be "Jereney", which means both his voice and his name would sound a lot like Journey. And son, in my opinion, I have a lot of respect for any man who can kick a car instead of a wife, especially once they start monkey-mouthing uncontrollably. It shows shows a hell of a lot of restraint.

Haha Jim, you know I "stopped my thread" within 20 minutes of posting it, and it mentioned NO legal troubles, nobody's name, no nothing. And you know GODDAMNED well that those so-called legal troubles are QUITE relevant to the things I've been accused of here year after year. My WHOLE POINT was that if you and your cohorts continued to run me thru the mud here, knowing full well there's NO CREDIBILITY to what's being said, I was willing to defend myself accordingly.

You are using this thread as an excuse to rehash a situation you ALREADY POSTED LAST YEAR, using my name and my family then, just to keep yourself in the limelight here and try to embarrass me. Oh, but you're the good guy right? You already told the story last year with my name attached but this year it's ME who incriminated myself, right?

His legal problems have absolutely nothing to do with you. And they're also irrelevant to this discussion. I have had NO "cohorts" today, thank you. I haven't spoken with him in a while, and when I did today, it was only to verify what I knew about your percentages off the top of our earnings. And yeah, I do think I'm a good guy. I busted my butt for your band and learned songs with little to no preparation, while you were slamming me to the other band mates, withholding my money, and leaving 20 minutes after I drove 5 hours for my only rehearsal. All the while, I was in here defending you AND your family against attacks from 3 or 4 members here CONSTANTLY. Yeah, I think I'm a good guy.

If you want to drag someone innocent into this and harm him, then so be it. I'm done with this conversation.

Going back to Jim's original question...

It's hard to confront people in those situations... almost seems easier just to avoid being in public situations with couples like that. My ex-h and I had another married couple we didn't like being out in public with... but for different reasons. They didn't fight. They, um... didn't have the best manners, let's say. If you heard a bodily noise at the table, it was guaranteed to be one of them. And neither of them thought it was rude or embarrassing. But what do you say to that? "You know, it's a bit of a problem for us when we're out in a restaurant full of people and y'all are belching and farting at the the table." :?

  That's nasty. We know some strange couples, and sometimes it just makes you wonder what the hell they're doing together? :? One couple we know hasn't had sex in over 7 years. The messed up thing is that she as of a couple of months ago, started having an affair with her neighbor who is great friends with her husband! She is crazy as hell, and tells my wife that she gave the guy an STD! The sad thing is that both he's married, and families hang out and do things together all the time. CRAZY!

We are friends with another couple that the woman is being abused. She's been physically kept hostage by him over a weekend, he both physically and verbally abuses her. She's left him several times and gone to her parents, only to go right back to him. The guy makes me fucking sick to my stomach, and I want to kick his ass so bad, but my wife makes me stay out of it. :? I don't understand how someone can be such a spineless, worthless sonofabitch! Every time I get on Facebook, I see posts about how she's curled up on the couch eating Smores, and having cocoa with him. She is pne of the sweetest women we know, and it just eats at me that someone could do that to her. He never shows ANY signs out in public. ASSHOLE!

While I can't confront him, I DID post a thread in Facebook saying that men who do that are spineless pieces of shit, and that if I ever saw anyone doing it, I'd beat them within an inch of their lives! It wasn't addressed to anyone, but it felt good to throw that out there. I know he read it. :D

I haven't said Journey didn't lipsync one time. I called Jeremey out for digging at Journey for doing it, when his band does the same. It then escalated from that to us battling it out in PM's. He then decided to post that stuff here and bring it to everyone's attention. I didn't bring up ANY of his personal stuff on here. HE did. Go back and look.

And I haven't "gossiped with ex band members". The only time I've spoke with one was yesterday to confirm dollar amounts of what Jeremey was taking off the top of the bands salary. I was done with this argument yesterday, so if you want to carry on with it, you can do so by yourself. Anyone confused can just go back and read what we both said. Have a good day.

Well, not actually, cause as I said before Jim and his cohort brought up this exact story a year ago...mentioning my name, my wife's name, etc....so while it suits your world view of "Jeremey" to call me stupid for calling Jim out, it really doesn't mesh with the reality of what happened.

As for my "bizarre" thread about nlc, there's a pretty straightforward explanation. Somebody flogged me publically for the past several years, and recently there's been public records made that call into question every lie ever told about me from this person. So made a simple proposal...if I ever heard where they badmouthed me on the Internet again, I'd use that information as a means to show how uncredible their word actually is.

Well, yesterday JJ mentioned in one of his threads that this person was giving him information to use here online. I don't fuck around...I texted the person and said "look at melodicrock.com," the posted the nlc thread. Now that person has decided not to contribute to anymore bullshit. Pretty simple. Didn't mention any names, nor places or even ideas. Just a message to nip things in the bud.

Of course the JJ had to drag my wife and me thru the mud again by repeating one of his same 3 stories about me.

So any of you looking down your nose at this situation, just put yourself in my place. If you can turn your back on weeks and months and years of nonstop petty bullshit, then congrats to you, you're a bigger person.

Meanwhile some scumbag trips his way around this forum like fucking Rainman running me down at every opportunity, and nobody blinks. Man, that's nuts...anyway. Thanks to those of you that get it. Everyone else...well, I just have to shrug my shoulders on that one.
