If audiobooks count, "Hitch-22", a memoir by Christopher Hitchens. :)

Email and stuff. Here's one.

A tourist in a bar in Florida asks an Irishman sitting at the bar,
"Why do Scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?"
To which the Irishman replies:
"If they fell forwards they'd still be in the fuckin' boat."
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Sounds riveting doesn't it?!  Trust me, it's not! It is fairly interesting though if you're into that sorta stuff like I am.
I'll forever be kicking myself in the ass for not buying at least a few shares of Google stock at its IPO. Give me a few ounces of gold and about 50 shares of Google and I'll be set!

Fever Dream by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child The latest in the Agent Pendergast series. Great books. Pendergast is a wonderful character. Start from the beginning of the series:

Relic
Reliquary
The Cabinet of Curiosities
Still Life With Crows
Brimstone
Dance Of Death
Book Of The Dead
Wheel of Darkness
Cemetary Dance
Fever Dream

Used to read them up to Wheel of Darkness and Cemetery Dance. Those 2 books ended for me at least, reading them. Way over the top and it seems they didn't put enough research or effort into them. (They write to much as stand alone authors also and that's not a good thing with these 2). There are a lot better authors and books out than these 2. But I do agree, their earlier Pendergast books from Relic to The Book of the Dead were great. Agent Pendergast is an eccentric to say the least.

"Juliet" ~ According to one of the reviews, it makes "the DaVinci Code look slow and plodding"

SO hoping this becomes a movie....read it!

I'll have to check this one out - sounds interesting. I just saw the movie, "The Help" & loved it so now I have to read the book.
