The fastball isn't the problem. They have guys in there throwing in the mid 90s. Aceves is regularly clocked at 94-97. The problem is location and control.

I could care less what he wants. Bard is a young kid who has proven absolutely NOTHING! He needs to shut his pie hole and do whatever it is that the team needs him to do! I've been a die hard Red Sox fan since I was 5 years old and watched Carlton Fisk hit the HR against the Reds in the World Series. I honestly don't like these guys, even a little. It's exactly how I felt about the team last season. They're my hometown team but I refuse to foot for laundry. Many of the guys on this team are douches. As much as I love Dustin Pedroia, I thought his comments about Valentine were WAY out of line when he came to Youkilis' defense. These guys really need to STFU and play baseball!
