I didn't remember until someone else pointed it out. I didn't exactly follow his career that closely, just what I'd seen posted of him here and the occasional clip on Youtube.

On another note, I vehemently disagree with your premise about Carlin's intellect. He was truly one of the most intelligent comedians, EVER. One of the few comedians that actually made people think, beyond the laughter.

Didn't say he wasn't smart. He just came off to me as being someone who thought they were smarter than they should be given credit for.
