The Democrats will win again in 2016 unless the Republicans can convince the general public that whatever Democrat is running is the antichrist. And they're so tainted right now that I don't think they can pull that off. Obama won by a landslide the first time. His numbers weren't as good the second time, but he still won very big. The voting demographic in this country has changed in a big way, and a whole new voting caste has been awakened. Unless the Republicans can start talking the language these voters want to hear, which they're about a million miles from doing at this point, they won't occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue again any time soon.
Rick, you are correct about the demographic's. This happens when the moral and ethical fibre in the country is at an all time low. Democrats stand for larger government, more social programs, increasing debt ceilings (more stimulus), increased welfare and food stamps. Not holding people accountable when they lie and cover up. DemocRats, when dirt arises on someone, will be the last to try and get to the truth, except when a republican does something, then they make more noise than anyone. People who don't care about the constitution, led by a president who doesn't either, are neither worthy, nor deserving of the protections and freedom it offers. Right now there are about half the people in this country who do not approve of the job Obama is doing. A way larger percentage don't approve of the way congress is doing it's job either. We have a leadership problem and congress is not following this president, nor does the president seem to care too much about working with congress. Sadly, I feel the president has a head full of bad ideas and congress feels the same way, hence the obstructing. That is the part many people don't understand.
So, you have about 50%, most of who are very good people and want to support integrity and running our country by the constitution our forefathers framed for us. These are the conservatives and libertarians. Then you have the lower eschelon, the uninformed, underinformed or the "I just don't give a shit bunch". Not all, but most of the liberals only care about what their country can give them, or do for them, caring not what kind of damage is done to our economy in the process. So, they elect people who buy their interests for them. These days, they'll elect a socialist, marxist, hell, even a commie, if that helps get them what they want. We have some great republicans with some great ideas, who probably won't get elected because the fucking entitlement crowd will cry like a bunch of babies. The racial dividers will continue to pander to certain classes in the masses. We let it get that way...you and me, my friends.
