I thought the premise of this bill passing was lowering healthcare costs... yet.... according to the Health and Human Services Department that won't occur for 10 years .... and most likely will never occur if Medicare costs aren't lowered:

That's correct, and that's also proof, that the bill doesn't go far enough. The Public Option should have been in there. The bill is too conservative. This shows that Obama was correct all along, that the Public Option was the best choice and that every citizen should have been covered. His view of what should have been done rather than the watered down version, would have meant huge savings.

To Hell with the Blue Dogs- they aren't real Dems anyway. Hope they all get waxed in November, especially Spector.

Further... if the DHHS also says that seniors will incur additional out of pocket expenses... ... then its not reducing HC costs to those who will need them most...
